You can catch her in the office July but it would be best to or call her if you need anything. The Paris office will be open to assist you as well, should you need assistance during this time. Arkansas State Fair Market Entries Market Lamb, Goat, and Hog deadlines are this month! Remember that market entries are a 3 step process. 1.) Request DNA Kit by July 15 (let us know by July 13) 2.) Submit DNA Kit by July 31 3.) Online Nomination by July 31 ***In order to show hogs in Arkansas, the hog must have either a premise ID or 840 tag. If you have a hog you are planning to show or just THINK you MIGHT show, who does not have a tag, contact the office immediately and we will help you contact the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission to receive a tag.***

3 July Scranton 4-H Club! We are excited to welcome the new members of the Scranton 4-H Club to Logan County 4-H. Their first meeting was on June 26 and there were 21 youth in attendance. The next meeting will be July 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Morrison Bluff. They will vote on club officers and decide on a name for their club. 4 Logan County 4-H Calf Fundraiser Logan County 4-H is conducting the annual calf raffle again this year. We will be raffling a heifer off again this year; it will weigh around pounds. The price for tickets will be $2/each or 3 for $5. Make sure you write your name on the tickets you sell, because the 4-Her that sells the most tickets will receive $50 from Farm Credit Services of Western Arkansas. Leaders may come to the Extension office and pick up tickets for your clubs now. Thank you for your help and your support of this fundraiser.
