2 9th annual SKOR Simmental Bull Sale Wednesday, MARCH 9, 1:00 p.m. Pavilion B, Camrose Regional Exhibition Sales Management Comments Absolutely with no element of doubt, this is one of the best Simmental cowherds in the country. The impressive tours to their summer pastures exhibits many multiples of wide topped, big hipped scale crushing calves that are literally unchallenged by hardly another herd in Canada. The well developed repeat customer crowd that utilize Skor bulls will be able to purchase from several new sire groups. In the black pens, two of the largest fraternities will be the Knockouts and the Superiors. Both sets are highly impressive for the huge ribcages and sheer beefi ness they possess. Even a direct son of Black Joker exists who would look great servicing someone s heifer pen. The red bulls again see leadership from the Crockett sire group. In them is what may be the thickest, longest, heaviest Red Simmi that will sell this March. The Gunners have been a steady group of smooth made quality the last few years at this sale and are excellent again and offer a calving ease bonus, most of them being out of 1st calvers themselves. The 747 s are new to this herd and offer a thickly made product in a well balanced package. They won t be hard to fi nd on sale day. This 300+ head cowherd spent more than a decade of culling the bottom end and replacing the herd with ALL the top end to become the amazing bull factory it is today. Only in the last two years have some top females been consigned to Ultimate Red & Black and as many of you know, have all been amongst the high sellers. The bulls receive one shot of Bovisheild Gold, Vision 8 with Somnus, and Once PMPH at spring turnout. The same is given on pasture 3 weeks prior to weaning and then boosted the day they come home and given A&D. 3 Welcome to the Skor Bull Sale Welcome to the 2011 Skor Simmental Bull Sale. We would like to say Thank You to all our previous bidders and buyers and to everyone who took the time and effort to attend our sale or visit the farm. We are very grateful to all who supported our program in the past. It is truly appreciated. We hope all is well with you and that 2011 will be a good year. At this time it certainly looks promising. The cattle industry has fi nally turned the corner, and those long awaited better days are here. On that note we would like to invite you to be with us in Camrose on March 9th. Coming to town is a strong set of red and black beef bulls from some of the best AI sires in the breed. We feel that this is one of the most consistent set of bulls we have ever offered. Although we have added a few more bulls to the sale, we are confi dent that the quality of the bulls is as strong as ever. What ever your need is, from calving ease to performance bulls, the selection will be great The bulls have been developed on a total mixed ration of silage chopped hay and Right Way Bull Ration which is a no starch, soy hull, fi ber pellet made by Wetaskiwin Co-op. We have been using that product for the past four years and are very happy with the results. Please feel free to drop by the farm before the sale and see the bulls in their pens. Farm visits give us a better chance to get to know you and your specifi c needs. If you are unable to make it to the farm the bulls will be available for viewing in Camrose the Monday and Tuesday before the sale. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a certifi ed cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should any purchaser fail to settle for his purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. BID - Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer s decision in such matters will be fi nal. PURCHASER S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser s risk for a reasonable length of time. INFORMATION SUPPLIED - The information contained in this catalog is believed to be true and accurate. However, the information has been supplied by the seller and neither Transcon Livestock Corp. or Jamesway Enterprises Ltd. assume any responsibility if the information supplied is not accurate. CATTLE PICTURES - The images in this catalog are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals. ANNOUNCEMENTS from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalog. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - A registration/recordation certifi cate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certifi cate in any other association. SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement. BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. HEALTH - It is the buyer s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale. ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors. or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale. IS AGENT ONLY - It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations, neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any fi nancial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties, and any legal action that may, in exceptional cases, be taken, must be between buyer and seller.
