Allan Fridlington set the new record for butcher bulls ever sold as his 2365 lb. butcher bull hit or The Pablo Mountain Cattle Co. right with them 2125 lb. butcher bull at Gohl Enterprises had 1405 lb. butcher cows top Victor Bateson with 1418 lb. butcher cows to Pincott Ranches 1441 lb. butcher cows hit Dave Taylor of Rafter T Ranch fired up the feeder sale. His 752 lb. Black steers topped The big steers 832 lb. powered to , the 593 lb. steers notched head of their replacement quality 703 lb. April 5th for Mitchell Cattle Co. and Guest consignors was electric with action finishing with averages well above the current market. This incredible sale got underway with an excellent lunch provided by the contributors and then 1 o clock sharp the Red Simmentals start the action. The Squaw Valley Ranch from Lumby, Darrell & Doris selected Lot 56 for The Black Simmentals were next with Scott & Sherry McLeod of S & S Farms of Westwold selecting Lot 60 for Both these powerful bulls were from Mitchell Cattle Co. Ron & Lois Crosby started the Black Angus portion of the sale with 2 bulls tying for high sellers. The 8 Mile Ranch from Merritt selected Lot 73A for The Rafter T Ranch from Quesnel selected Lot 113A for Mitchell Cattle Co. put the fire to the Red Angus bulls with Robert & Linda Macham buying Lot 43 for Sierra Simmentals Lot 316A also sold to 8 Mile Ranch for Buyers today came from Lumby, Merritt and all the way north to Vanderhoof. The Nicola Ranch had 2052 lb. butcher bulls top Edith Currie set a pace today for the feeder cattle. Her 658 lb. steers notched with her 603 lb. Hereford steers from Princeton powering to Her 783 lb.
