Just over 750 hd in from 127 contributors and like a well oiled machine the crew made a great presentation and we found top dollar for each of these fine animals. For strs we saw a great set of 678 lb blk strs in from Johnson Farms (Vanderhoof) worth , 598 lb strs hit Elizabeth Schalin (PG) saw her 714 lb red strs fetch , 569 lb strs at Arnett Ranch (PG) with big 821 lb strs reaching , 733 lb hfrs up to Walt Cool (Vanderhoof) with 649 lb Saler strs cracking , 580 lb hfrs at From Burns Lk we had Clint Lambert in with 589 lb strs striking , Clint's 1313 lb cows traded for Lots of hfrs again and from Triple N Ranch (Burns Lk) we saw 670 lb blk hfrs notch , 595 lb hfrs at Harold and Bonnie Moroski (Burns Lk) with a pen of 626 lb red hfrs climbing to Lance and Kristine Brown (Hixon) saw their 695 lb blk x hfrs hit Walter Anchikoski (PG) rung the bell with a set of 668 lb Angus hfrs at We had a few pairs to entertain the lunch crowd and Cody Large (PG) enjoyed for his great quality red c/c. Sunny Point Cattle Co. (Smithers) had blk pairs race to A solid run in butcher cattle like the 1465 lb cows from Geoff Stubbs (Ft Fraser) marking Tanya Belsham (Houston) saw her 1583 lb blk cows demand Ron Fawcett (Vanderhoof) with 1339 lb cows at Golden Meadows Ranch (Ft Fraser) had 1477 lb cows force Kochel Cattle and Timber (Vanderhoof) in with 1284 lb cows selling at Ken Fawcett (Vanderhoof) had a 1925 lb red bull reach J and R Ranch (Houston) saw their 1985 lb red bull notch and our heaviest ring load of the day was 9 bulls from Rim Rock Ranch (Vanderhoof) averaging 2051 lb and maxing out at What a sale! We enjoyed a variety of items in the Foodgrains Bank sale including hanging baskets, variety baskets, tools, baked goods and about a dozen cattle. Thank you to all who donated to this wonderful cause. Again I want to thank everyone for their patience as we adapted to our limitations this spring. Also I appreciate the perseverance of the crew, we got'er done and now we can look forward to an updated facility come fall. Next scheduled sale is July 20th.

3 KAMLOOPS SALE, TUESDAY, JUNE 12th, 2018 Well another excellent cattle sale in Kamloops as we saw 400 hd hit the sale ring. Butcher cows by far made up the sale receipts but goodness, we had some real nice cow / calf pairs and bred cows as well. Robert Black set a pace as their 865 lb red Baldie strs set in at The Diamond Mountain Ranch, from Kelowna, had 575 lb hfrs mark Len Tonn s 520 lb strs met and his 693 lb strs hit Marvin Tonn had 925 lb strs reach James Moen, from Salmon Arm, had 500 lb red Baldie hfrs trade to They also had 520 lb s/c notching Firtz Wirtz, from Kelowna, had 668 lb hfrs trade to Dave Kidson was in with cow / calf pairs that traded up to per pair. Mark Diblee saw his young blk Angus first calvers, with solid blk calves at their sides, top up to Tom Hanna had 1575 lb butcher cows sell to Hiwan Ranch saw their 1400 lb red Angus cows top Kevin Carson s 1073 lb heiferettes sold to Ian & Bev Smith had 2130 lb butcher bulls roll up to Seven O Ranches also had 1400 lb butcher cows mark Karl Isabelle & Dave Wabnegger had 2160 lb butcher bulls set the bar at and 1935 lb bulls reach up to Dixon Creek Ranch, the Kempter family, from Barriere, set the sale record with 2280 lb butcher bulls power to Crystal Lake Ranch s 1628 lb Simm butcher cows traded at The Douglas Lake Cattle Co. s 1077 lb young cows sold to and their 1856 lb Char butcher bulls hit Well it was quite a day!
