Prices were strong and bidding was solid start to finish. SK Cattle Co from the Perry Ranch started the video sale as they showcased just under 800 yearlings. Their 1st 3 liner loads of 845 lb Angus Influence strs saw Four liner loads of their 775 lb strs marked , 2 liner loads of the lighter strs, 700 lb, raced to top liner loads of their Hereford and Speckled Park 780 lb strs notched The Pablo Mtn Cattle Co. showcased 1 liner load of Angus & Angus cross hfrs, 740 lb of top quality, that traded to It was wild in the ring Thursday! Ernest Bree had 488 lb s/c that raced to , and a fancy group of their 358 lb h/c saw The DMS Ranch, out of Vanderhoof, brought powerful 535 lb Blk s/c that hit and their big boys, at 640 lb saw Red Moon Angus in with 753 lb Red replacement hfrs that rolled up to Dave Taylor of Rafter T Ranch saw his 738 lb blk strs reach , the 639 lb blk s/c climb to and his 749 lb blk hfrs topped Pablo Mtn Ranch s 610 lb tan hfrs hit Whitley Lake Ranch s 402 lb s/c sold to William & Tanya Christiansen s 580 lb s/c brought Carmella Farm s 520 lb Angus X s/c topped Mark Dakos in with some of the heaviest yearlings, his pen of 905 lb strs hit and his 700 lb strs topped The Stirrup Ranch set the buyers on the edge of their seats with a ring full of Blk replacement hfrs, 62 hd of top class, 645 lb, hfrs raced up to hd of their 706 lb replacement hfrs hit Butcher cows and bulls were under pressure. BEST BET BULL SALE, MITCHELL CATTLE CO. & GUEST, SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 2018 Mitchell Cattle Co. & Crosby Cattle put on a barn burner of a Best Bet Bull Sale in Williams Lake! The bidding action at the Quality sale was electric with an incredible pace from start to finish. The Mitchell s & Crosby s treated everyone to a huge beef on a bun lunch before the action packed sale began at 1 pm. Crosby Cattle, Ron, Lois & Family started this impressive sale with 3 top Blk Angus bulls notching over the mark. Adrian Vandermerwe from Bushman Cattle Co. bought the high seller, 102E for Meints Cattle Co. was right behind, selecting 77E for Lot 78E was picked up by Ingrid Kallman for Mitchell Cattle Co. raced us into the Red Angus bull division with the high seller, 63E, bought by Peter & Sharon Philip, for Right behind was Fred Bowers, selecting 90E for The also had 9 Red Angus bulls reach over the mark. The Pooles Arrow Ranch procured 230E for 10, Hugh & Shelly Graffunder picked up 223E for 10, Black Simmental sold over the mark and 12 Red Simmentals broke the mark also. Quality was tops and the largest crowd of buyers we have ever seen attended. The place was alive with action! The sale started with a top set of 810 lb Blk strs from Bob Pasodovsky, marking His 823 lb hfrs showed Howard Smith & Margaret Young presented a load of 62 fancy 600 lb hfrs, Red & Blk, that raced to Harvest Hill s Ranch saw their 650 lb strs mark Ian & Rita Sutherland had a pen of 655 lb strs notch , their fancy pen of 628 lb Blk hfrs hit Jamie Law had 470 lb s/c rolled to Dan Law brought 470 lb s/c that hit and his 434 lb h/c saw Beau Turner in with 654 lb hfrs that topped Dan Summers brought 900 lb Gelbvieh X replacement hfrs that raced to Kevin MacDonell had 468 lb s/c reach Dave Allingham had 718 lb strs fly to Fennell Ranches with 600 lb Blk strs mark and their young feeder cows hit and the 1430 lb butcher cows topped Sunnybrae Farms with a top pen of 772 lb replacement quality Hereford hfrs, marking , his 853 lb Hereford strs sold at Linda Allison had 600 lb strs rolling to Ted Sikora & Karen Wilson with 1000 lb strs that topped Ward Creek Ranches 450 lb h/c hit Ian & Jo Nelson had 818 lb Sim/Red X hfrs that topped and their 746 lb replacement h/c saw Dave Stutt presented a group of 548 lb Blk & red X h/c notching Ed & Angela Pawloff saw their pen of 648 lb Blk h/c mark The Schweb Family Farm with 29 top calves.
