She is the two time Laser Radial national champion and finished top of her fleet in the Top of the Gulf Regatta in 2011 and 2013, the Laser Districts in 2012 and the Hua Hin Regatta 2012 and She also won gold in the larger Laser Standard rig usually reserved for men at the 2012 Phuket King s Cup Regatta. Regionally, Bam won silver medals at the 2011 SEA Games and the 2009 Byte CII Asian Championship, a gold medal in the Laser Radial from the 2011 Hong Kong Sailing Federation International Open Dinghy Regatta, and the bronze in the mixed class 2010 Asia Pacific Laser Championships and the 2008 Asian Sailing Championship. in Germany, where she only lost the last Olympic qualification slot on the last day due to another sailor s capsize in front of her on the fini sh line.
