1 2018 Ski Trip Payment Dear Parents To assist you with your payments for the Snow Excursion, payment details and a payment installment sheet is supplied to ensure all monies are paid prior to this excursion. If you wish to pay the full amount less the $150 deposit, you can do so at any time. If paying by installments, please keep to the specified dates. Any student who decides to snowboard must realize that the cost of hire is NOT included in this price. Students snowboarding will also need to sign a contract stating they are prepared to wear wrist guards whenever snowboarding due to the risk of injury to wrists. Parents must also realize that any loss of equipment must be paid for. In 2017 replacement of snowboards was approximately $600 and skis $250. Snowboard hire and clothing hire has been arranged through Vikas lodge at a discount rate. Any student wishing to hire these items must bring the necessary cash with them to the snow trip. You are welcome to bring your own gear. Cost for clothing hire is as follows: (all costs are weekly hire) 4 days hire of ski pants or $30 each, or hire of $55. 4 days hire of snowboard, soft boots and wrist guards add extra $ days hire of ski pants & parka plus to keep, ski gloves, anti-fog goggles ski socks and beanie all for only $135. A sheet containing details of other equipment and clothing needed will be issued in the near future to ensure everyone is well prepared. 3 PAYMENT DETAILS The cost of the Ski Trip is $ This includes the following: transport accommodation entry into Australian Institute of Sport breakfasts (hot and cold) dinners 3 course-endless helpings lift tickets 4 days ski hire skis, stocks, boots ( not snowboards) 4 days x 2 hr. ski or snowboard lessons (morning and afternoon lessons Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday morning only Friday 4 days National Park entry 4-day hire of ski helmet, compulsory for all. DOES NOT INCLUDE Hire of ski clothing, 4 day deals: $135 (deal with Vikas includes pants and jacket hire with goggles, gloves and beanie to keep) or $30 for hire of parka or pants separately or $55 for the hire of both. Lunch on the forward trip, and lunch and dinner on the return trip. Snowboard hire, boots and wrist guards $105 Lunches on the ski fields. $15 per day (approx.)
