2 FACILITIES: Acapulco Invitational December 2 nd and 3 rd, lane 25m pool Dolphin Timing System No outdoor shoes be worn on deck. Only participating swimmers, officials, certified coaches and authorized people are allowed on the deck. Photographers must obtain authorization from the meet manager prior to competition to be allowed on deck. If a coach is not on this list, meet management is obligated to enforce the SNC policy and not permit that coach to attend meet. Meet management will forward Swim Ontario a list of coaches who they have found to be in non-compliance. ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday Nov. 28 th, 2017 All entries must be in Hy-tek format and submitted via No entries will be accepted directly by meet management. RESULTS: ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Will be posted to within 48 hours of the meet s completion. Swimmers will be limited to 3 individual events per session. Each Club will be limited to 2 relay teams per Gender. Each relay team must consist of 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17 & Over. Swim ups are allowed. All events are pre-seeded. Deck entries will be accepted only where space is available and swum as exhibition for times only and not exceeding 3 individual events per session. All events will be swum as time finals. No session will be longer than 4.5 hours in length. DATE & TIMES: Saturday December 2, Warm-Ups: 1:30 pm 2:00 pm Start: 2:35 pm Sunday December 3, Warm-Ups:8 :00 am 9:00 am Start: 9:05 am

3 Meet management reserves the right to alter warm up times and start times based on entries received. AWARDS: 1 st 8 th Ribbons Leis for heat winners Prizes for bell laps Prize for winning relay team COMPETITION RULES: All current Swimming/Natation Canada rules will be followed. Please note that Swimming Canada Competition Warm-Up Safety Procedures will be in effect. The full document can be viewed HERE. For club and provincial meets, a swimsuit that covers more of the body such as modesty swimwear or religious cover-ups is permitted providing that the fabric is permeable open mesh textile material and does not give the swimmer an advantage. The full interpretation can be viewed HERE. Advanced notification or for clarification of interpretation please see the Competition Coordinator. Swimmers will not be penalized for scratching from preliminary heats or timed finals. Coaches are responsible to inform their swimmers before arrival of the Safety Rules as contained in this package and to ensure their adherence and the athletes disciplined behavior. Meet Officials will provide a safe environment and an organized competition. We are not responsible for the supervision of the athletes during the competition and especially during session breaks. Meet management requires that any coach wishing to rely on a time achieved by the swimmer for an interval shorter than the total distance of the event shall so advise the Referee prior to the commencement of the session (or event) in question. The only meet package that will be considered as valid will be the most current version found on ELIGIBILITY: All athletes must be registered as Competitive swimmers with SNC, or any other amateur swimming organization recognized by FINA. A valid SNC registration number is required for all Canadian swimmers, and entries without a SNC registration number will be declined entry. This is not an IPC sanctioned event. AGE UP DATE: Athletes ages are to be submitted as of Saturday, December 2, 2017.
