1 WELCOME TO KRONBORG OPEN 2017 WITH EXTRA LARGE PRIZES OF A TOTAL OF 4,000 EUROS Helsingør Swimming Club is delighted to welcome you to Kronborg Open 2017 on. We hope that through our joint efforts, we will have some very enjoyable and exciting days in the competition pool of Helsingør. We are also looking forward to using our new starting blocks for the first time. New starting blocks blocks As usual a shop will be placed in the vestibule where it will be possible to buy water, coffee, fruit, sandwiches, cake etc. Mobile Pay, Visa card and Dankort are accepted. Speedo will have a shop in the pool area on Saturday and Sunday. 2 Changing facilities Hygiene Warm up/cool down pool during the meet There are lockers with keys you have to use a DKK 20 coin, which of course you will get back. The number of lockers is limited so we encourage everybody to share lockers. It is the policy of the Helsingør Swimming Club, Denmark that the daily high standard of hygiene must be maintained including during meets. Every swimmer must go through the changing room and shower without swimsuit. This is required for the benefit of everyone who needs to be at/in the pool. Bad hygiene automatically causes increased levels of chlorine, which causes irritation in the eyes and respiratory passages. It will be open on Friday 24th February after the meet finishes. It will be open on Saturday 25th February and Sunday 26th February and during the long break. It is not permitted to play in the cool down pool. Prize giving march Lost and found Prizewinners will gather at the baby pool for the prize giving march, 5 min. before the prize giving. During the meet, a table will be provided at the entrance with lost and found items. Swimming suits that have been left behind will be available for collection at the clubhouse office. 3 Breakfast Lunch Lounge Secretariat Start- and result lists Club trays Limitation of heats Cancellation A light breakfast will be served to officials and team leaders in the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday during the briefings for team leaders and officials. Lunch will be served in the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 to 14:00 to officials, coaches, team leaders and the clubs that have paid for lunch. Throughout the meet, leaders and coaches will have access to the clubhouse where coffee, tea etc. will be available. Open every morning at 07:30. Here you will find programs and other information. The time schedule will be monitored continuously. Cancellation on the same day may result in reseeding. THE POOL AREA Tidying up The corridor area We kindly ask you to see to it that you remove your own garbage and place it in the dustbins located in the pool area, locker room and the extra facilities. For safety reasons free passage must be maintained in the corridor area.

4 ACCOMMODATION Borupgårdskole It is possible to spend the nights at a school located nearby, Borupgårdskole (Smakkevej 2, 3070 Snekkersten). In addition, we can recommend the following accommodation options: Clubs that choose accommodation can make food arrangements at the clubhouse. 5 DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITION POOL OF HELSINGØR From Copenhagen - Take E47/E55 towards Helsingør, then take first exit on the roundabout on to Prøvestensvej and take second exit on the roundabout on to Borgmester P. Christensens Vej, turn right and stay on Borgmester P. Christensens Vej. Drive past the Multiparken and take a right turn. The pool building is located on the right-hand side approximately 50 meters ahead. Free parking free is available immediately next to the pool building.
