1 WELCOME TO KRONBORG OPEN 2019 WITH EXTRA LARGE PRIZES OF A TOTAL OF 7,000 EURO Helsingør Swimming Club is delighted to welcome you to Kronborg Open 2019 on March 1 to 3, We hope that through our joint efforts, we will have some very enjoyable and exciting days in the competition pool of Helsingør. As usual a shop will be placed in the vestibule where it will be possible to buy water, coffee, fruit, sandwiches, cake etc. Mobile Pay, Visa card and Dankort are accepted. Speedo will also have a shop in the pool area on Saturday and Sunday. 2 Changing facilities Hygiene Warm up/cool down during the meet Prize giving march Lost and found There are lockers with keys you have to use a DKK 20 coin, which of course you will get back. The number of lockers is limited so we encourage everybody to share lockers. It is the policy of the Helsingør Swimming Club, Denmark that the daily high standard of hygiene must be maintained including during meets. Every swimmer must go through the changing room and shower without swimsuit. This is required for the benefit of everyone who needs to be at/in the pool. Bad hygiene automatically causes increased levels of chlorine, which causes irritation in the eyes and respiratory passages. It will be open on Friday March 1, after the meet finishes. It will be open on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday March 3 during the long break. Prizewinners will gather at the prize podium 5 min. prior to the prize giving. The overall money prizes will be given on Sunday March 3 at the end of the meet. We remind you that the swimmer must be present at the respective prize giving to be entitled to receive the prize money. During the meet, a table with lost and found items will be provided at the hot water pool. Racing swimming suits that have been left behind will be available for collection at the clubhouse office. 3 Breakfast Lunch Lounge Secretariat Start- and result lists Club trays Limitation of heats Cancellation A light breakfast will be served to officials and team leaders in the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday during the briefings for team leaders and officials. Lunch will be served in the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday from to officials, coaches, team leaders and the clubs that have paid for lunch. Throughout the meet, leaders and coaches will have access to the clubhouse where coffee, tea etc. will be available. Open every morning at 07:00. Start lists will be hung up and distributed to each club in the club trays before commencement of the meet as well as on The results will also be updated continuously on the Internet on They are located next to the clubhouse. Here you will find programs and other information. The time schedule will be monitored continuously. Cancellations has to be made electronically on the day of the swim latest at 15:00 (Friday) or 7:30 (Saturday and Sunday). Cancellations for the finals has to be made no later than 30 minutes after the results-list has been hung up and announced. Cancellations on the same day may result in reseeding. THE POOL AREA Tidying up The corridor area We kindly ask you to remove your own garbage and place it in the dustbins located in the pool area, locker room and the extra facilities. For safety reasons free passage must be maintained in the corridor area.

5 DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO THE COMPETITION POOL OF HELSINGØR From Copenhagen - Take E47/E55 towards Helsingør, then take first exit on the roundabout on to Prøvestensvej and take second exit on the roundabout on to Borgmester P. Christensens Vej, turn right and stay on Borgmester P. Christensens Vej. Drive past the Multiparken and take a right turn. The pool building is located on the right-hand side approximately 50 meters ahead. Free parking free is available immediately next to the pool building.
