1 Welcome Helsingør Swimming Club, Denmark (Helsingør Svømmeklub) has the pleasure of welcoming you to Kronborg Open, rich in tradition. This year with extra large prizes of a total of 7,000 of which 1,750 is split among the three women and men with the highest number of FINA-points achieved, and new this year 115 will be distributed to the three fastest swimmers in the finals of event As always there is free lunch for coaches and team leaders. Details about the meet The venue of the meet is the competition pool of Helsingør Svømmehal, Borgmester P. Christensensvej 14, 3000 Helsingør. 50m pool with 8 lanes all equipped with electronic timing, pool depth is 1,8 to 3,8m and water temperature is 27 ⁰ Celsius. Warm-up Friday at 15:00, Saturday and Sunday at 07:30 warm-up finals on Saturday and Sunday at 15:00. Commencement of meet Friday at 16:30, Saturday and Sunday at 09:00 Expected finish Friday at 21:00, Saturday and Sunday at 18:00 (preliminary estimate) Helsingør Swimming Club reserves the right to limit the number of starts, in case it turns out that the meet cannot be completed within the time scheduled. Entry fee Entry fees: DKK 90 per individuel start for junior and senior and DKK 80 per individuel start for age group swimmers and children. Clubs and swimmers with past and present European Championship or World Championship qualifications will be given first priority in case of too many starts. Entries must be received by Helsingør Swimming Club not later than Monday, February 18 th Helsingør Swimming Club reserves the right to refuse applications received after this date. After this date, entries of swimmers can only take place outside the competition and the cost of delayed entry is twice the amount of the entry fee, which is due immediately.

5 Age groups Groups Women/girls Men/boys A (senior) 01 and older 00 and older B (junior) C (age group) D (children) 08 and younger 07 and younger Officials Upon entry, all clubs are required to supply the names of judges and timers: < 10 starts per day of meet 1 judge per day must be provided > 10 starts per day of meet 2 judges per day must be provided > 50 starts per day of meet 3 judges per day must be provided > 100 starts per day of meet 4 judges per day must be provided Names and qualifications of officials must be provided. Entries without the notification of these officials in due time may be refused. Clubs from abroad are not required to provide officials. Coaches and leaders Helsingør Swimming Club offers lunch for coaches and team leaders. Upon entry, please indicate the club and name (first- and surname) and send it to: tilmelding@svommeklubben.dk.

6 Prizes There will be medals awarded to no 1, 2 and 3 in all events. There will be heat prizes in all events. Cash prizes in event 1-30 (finals only) to the three (3) fastest women and men in group A/B together. Fastest swimmers in event 1 30 (finals only): 1. place 60 ca. 450 DKK 2. place 35 ca. 250 DKK 3. place 20 ca. 150 DKK Cash prizes will be shared by the 3 men and women in groups A/B together who have achieved the highest amount of points in one (1) event according to Fina s points table. In case of equal amount of point the 1. place goes to the swimmer with the highest amount of points in the second best event etc. Prizewinners will gather at the prize podium 5 min. prior to the prize giving. The overall money prizes will be given on Sunday March 3 March at the end of the meet. We remind you that the swimmer must be present at the respective prize giving to be entitled to receive the prize money.
