The Swim Race Days are different there will be no boredom. Due to the separation of age groups ( in the morning, 2003 and older in the afternoon), we avoid unnecessarily long breaks of the participating swimmers. Anyone who wants to follow the whole event can experience exciting competitions with modern formats, qualifications and finals. We also offer an educational program. 4 THE RACE Ending of the 2nd session on Saturday, March 3rd 2018 The best 8 men and women in the 200m Medley (Competition No. 17 and 18) are qualified for the elimination race. There will be four races in the 50m Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Freestyle (draw before each race). In the first three races the last two of each race are eliminated. The last two contest the final. 6 SPECIALS CUPS AND REWARDS The best single performance in one event (according to the score table of the FINA) is rewarded with a cash prize of 50,00 Special reward for the best teams in the Junior Team Cup (2005 to 2009) and in the Westfalen Cup () 100,00, 75,00 and 50,00 for the best three teams in the Junior-Team-Cup and Westfalen-Cup URSULA-HAPPE-CUP Ursula Happe (member of the SV Westfalen Dortmund) won 1956 the Olympic Gold Medal in the 200 m Breaststroke. The cup is given to the winner of the 50, 100 and 200 m Breaststroke after addition the points of all three events according to the FINA score table. The Cup is connected with a reward of 100,00. MINI-CUP Girls and Boys of age group 2005 to 2009 (separate evaluation by boys and girls) may take part at the Mini-Cup. Therefore three of four 50m races must be swum. Champion of the Mini-Cup will be the girl/boy, who has the highest points after addition the best three results (according to the score table of the FINA). AFTER RACE PARTY After the on Saturday evening, a party will be held in the Südbad. A buffet and a DJ ensure the right mood. You can register via our website.

7 GENERAL REGULATIONS 1. The heats will take place according to rules of the Deutscher Schwimmverband (DSV). Eligible are members of an association belonging to the FINA respectively belonging to an affiliated association, furthermore members of clubs belonging to a national association affiliated to the DSV. For disabled swimmers with classification prove there are also the competition rules of the German Disabled sport Collar applying. 2. With the release of entry each club has to warrant that the swimmers mentioned in the entries are able to prove their sportive healthiness according to 8 of the competition rules. By submitting their entries to the organizer, the clubs and participants are accepting the use of their data and pictures as is the rule for swimming competitions (for example: reporting, publishing in heat sheets and results in print and online media). Should a club fail to give this guarantees the entries have to be refused by the organising club. 3. The competition pool is 50 m long and consists of 8 lanes, which are parted by wave-breaking lane ropes. The pool has got a water temperature of 26 C. Timing is electronic. 4. Starts are to be made according to the one start rule (Einstartregel). According to the decision of the DSV, swimmers of the age group 2008 and younger may complete no more than 6 starts per day. 5. Entries must be given according to rules of the DSV. Incomplete entries (for example without gender or year of birth) will be rejected. Entries should be sent by to meldung@jota-se.de. Clubs, that use a software for managing their teams, which is able to create an entry file in the German format (DSV), are kindly asked to add such a file to their entries. Between 24 hours after sending the entries via , the club get an acknowledgement of receipt. If the club get no acknowledgement the entries are rejected. In this case please contact the organising club. Getting more than this, the entries will be rejected. Reimbursement: When you reach the respective target time (for example, 1:10 = 1: 10,00), 2,00 will be refunded. Reimbursement is also made if a swimmer does not start. For this reimbursement please indicate the bank connection on the registration form (otherwise no refund!). 8. The evaluation is parted into age classes. Age classes 2003/2004 (Class B), 2001/2002 (Class A) and 2000 and older will be evaluated together. Awards: Medals for Place 1 to 3 Rewards for first place of evaluation 2000 and older, class A and class B Special rewards for place 1 to 3 in the finals (evaluation ) In the finals of evaluation : first place 30,00, second 20,00, third 10,00 Cups for place 1 at the Mini-Cups (each age group) 50,00 for the best single performance in one event (according to the score table of the FINA). The entry fee amounts 7,00 for 50 and 100m distances, 8,00 for 200m distances and 10,00 for 400m Freestyle.
