Cincinnati now has two weeks of top-level pro tennis featuring the world s best men and now women up close and personal. With the prospect of the Williams sisters, Jankovic and Ivanovic joining the likes of past men s winners Federer, Roddick and Murray, tennis won t be any better anywhere. The Western & Southern Financial Group Women s Open is a Premier event on the international Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. It is estimated that at least 7 of the world s top 10 players will enter to compete for this prestigious title. The Western & Southern Financial Group Masters is one of the largest, oldest and most prestigious events in the world of tennis. It is one of nine elite ATP Masters 1000 events, the strongest and most important tournaments on the ATP Tour where all the top players are automatically entered. By combining these two tournaments we re changing not only for the better, but for the best.

Past winners include Andy Murray, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker and John McEnroe, to name only a few. Women s Players This 56-player singles draw features most of the best women players in the world. It is estimated that at least 7 of the world s top 10 players will enter. This year s prospects should include Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic. Television Coverage > The event is seen live domestically on ESPN2 and The Tennis Channel, with the men s final shown live on CBS.
