The 2 mile extension will include a 12 wide asphalt multi use path, two railroad bridge rehabs at Morris Ditch and Grassy Creek, and pedestrian flashers at the Post Road, Mitthoeffer Road, and German Church Road The purpose for the project is to upgrade the level of service and improve intersection control while increasing intersection capacity with the construction of a roundabout intersection. The planned improvements will also improve the overall safety of the intersection.
