Their focus of service is 8 to bring the community together and provide assistance to those who are less fortunate in the 9 island and in the nation; and 1

4 1 WHEREAS, some of the many contributions of the Guam Stars Lions Club include 2 monetary donations to the American Red Cross, and the recovery efforts in the wake of the 3 Japan earthquake and tsunami, and the Hurricane Katrina disasters. The Guam Stars Lions 4 Club members have also extended their services to local non-profit organizations, including 5 the Catholic Social Service and the St Dominic's Senior Care Center; and in-kind donations 6 to the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority and the Salvation Army. n addition, the Guam 7 Stars Lions Club members have also participated in gift giving to the needy families and 8 students in our island community.
