Mtin t apprve minutes passed. Treasurer s Reprt There was $48, in cash at the end f December. Club has a net lss f $33,860 fr 2008 December payments included ver $12,000 because f a late payment and the umbrella plicy being due. There will be a full annual reprt after all the year-end adjustments are cmplete Old Business: Cnflict f Interest Plicy Deferred t February meeting. The wrding is being wrked n. Bellevue Berry Farm practice fields Dug cntacted Ed Schaffer. He is willing t wrk with BSC. Using part f Bellevue Berry Farm fr practice fields will cst BSC sme mney fr imprvements and t lease the space. Dug will talk t Mr. Schaffer t get mre details and start t wrk ut an agreement. Cable and pst fence alng 42 nd Street Dug made sme phne calls and is waiting n mre infrmatin. Larry fund ut that part f where we want t put a fence isn t prperty f BSC because f hw the land was pltted during the riginal plans. We need t lk at getting this piece f land near the training area vacated s it is part f BSC and we can put a fence n it. Larry said this prcess shuld be fairly easy t take care f. New Business: Dnatin and pster presentatin Michelle Rigley Michelle made a dnatin f $250 t BSC. Michelle wuld like t put up a prmtinal pster fr her phtgraphy business abve the drinking funtain as the Spring seasn starts. Michelle had a mck-up f the pster. Her pster was apprved. Spring Seasn calendar Changes made t prpsed calendar Micr will nly be n Mnday and Thursday starting in the Spring 2009 seasn. U4 and U6 games will be Mnday, U5 and U6 games n Thursday. The first Micr games will be April 6, Questin abut NSL scheduling nn-bsc games at BSC. There were n bjectins t this.

Parents need t fill ut new registratin frms fr each player each seasn Caches need t be registered in early May Tdd said he had been tld by a parent n ne f Bill Culbert s teams that Bill wuld nt be caching ne f his teams in the Spring but had fund a cach fr the team. Greg and Steve said they were aware f this situatin and it has already been addressed. Marv will be a back-up t update the BSC website with Chris Drake is ut f twn. Equipment Recreatinal league unifrms Can we drp a prtin f the registratin fees and have players buy the unifrm? One clr fr the club. One hme game unifrm/clr and a separate clr/unifrm (white?) fr away games. This makes BSC mre recgnizable when teams are at turnaments r ther games nt at BSC. Can we issue prtable benches t each cach fr the subs t sit n? Right nw all f ur teams sit n the grass when teams frm ther clubs have benches. Sme caches supply benches fr their teams. The benches aren t necessary and smetimes players dn t pay attentin t the game if they are n a bench. Benches als wear ut quickly. Adjurn Meeting Meeting was adjurned at 8:31pm.

6 Cmpetitive Develpment Cmmittee Meeting January 5, 2009 Attendees Greg Fisher, Steve Mre, Dug Whitfield, Marcia Smith, Tim Will Tpics Unifrms Current Puma unifrms are end f life. New unifrms must be selected fr use beginning Fall Dug has been wrking with Micki at Nebraska Sprting Gds (Sccer Zne) Steve has had discussins with the new Puma representative in twn. Discussin cntinued n the merits f suppliers, brands, clrs, etc. The cmmittee decided: Puma is preferred ver ther brands t due availability, custmer service, and durability. All cmpetitive teams will wear the same unifrm. Unifrms will be tw clrs nly: Blue and White (n Red ptin) Kits will be: Blue jersey (primary) White jersey (alternate) Blue shrt Blue sck Dug will wrk with Micki t cme up with 5 r 6 ptins. The cmmittee will narrw that list t 2 r 3. Caches will pick (vte) between the 2 r 3 t select the unifrm. Sccer Extreme will als be cntacted t see what they have.

7 Training The high level training plan fr 2009 was discussed. Many ptins were discussed. Prs and cns f past training were als discussed. The cmmittee decided n the fllwing preliminary plan: In seasn training; Spring (Mar-May) and Fall (Aug-Oct) Teams brken int age grups and taught an established curriculum Age grups: u9/10, u11/12, u13/14, u15/16, u17/18 Weekly skills training at the cmplex fr 9 weeks each (ne sessin per team per week) Training will be in tw sessins n Saturday mrnings (althugh histric scheduling needs t be lked at since many yunger ENSA teams play n Saturdays). Sessin 1 will be fr u9/10 and u11/12 and run frm 8:30am-10am Sessin 2 will be fr u13/14, u15/16, and u17/18 and run frm 10:30am-12pm Althugh age grups train at the same time their curriculum will differ. Grups culd be further divided if gender r numbers becme an issue Trainers fr each sessin will cnsist f a head trainer and 4-6 assistants (based n numbers) Head trainers will versee the entire sessin while assistants wrk with a single age grup Head trainers will be paid $75/sessin Assistants will be paid $50/sessin Head trainers will be guest cllege and high schl caches r senir staff trainers. Ideally head trainers will rtate weekly t expse players t different styles. 9 weeks with 3 head trainers allws fr 3 weeks (6 sessins) each. Summer (Jun-July) Training Free-Play (Street Sccer) Saturdays (r Sundays) Players shw up and play 3v3/4v4 within age grup (as pssible with numbers) N trainers needed The cmmittee wuld like t spnsr a 3v3 league. Prceeds wuld be used t pay fr winter facility rental.
