2 SORORITY NEWS Kappa Kappa Gamma announces their Tug for the Town philanthropy on April 14th! Kappa encourages everyone to participate in this tug-o-war tournament in Mad Bowl, which is sure to be a blast! The money will go to the JEB Stuart Educational Foundation in memory of Casey Schulman. Kappa also wants to mention that they have been doing a buddy group system, in which they meet with a random group of four women within the chapter to learn more about one another, which is then shared at chapter. They are having a lot of fun with the program, which is led by Ina Browning! Sigma Kappa would like to Delta Delta Delta encourages everyone to come to DELTA Gillis for being accepted into the Bowl! The philanthropy benefits St. Jude Children's Research spotlight Anne Knisely and Grace Order of Omega! DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT this Friday at 2 PM in Mad Hospital. Alpha Delta Pi would like to congratulate Kristina Creadore and Elena Dennie for being accepted into the Order of Omega! Delta Gamma would like to give a shout out to Hope Kerpelman for her hard work and dedication on the UVA Swimming and Diving team, which won their sixth straight ACC title recently! Plus, they want to congratulate Andi Chernau for representing the Curry School, Katie Bachman for representing the nursing school, and Brittany Wengel for representing the College on the next Honor Committee! Zeta Tau Alpha is so excited for Abby Meredith, Skye Stansbury, Grace Bingham, Lauren Sittler, Sarah Vaughan, Paige Micklem, and Ali Severovich for winning regionals on the UVA Riding Team. They also want to congratulate Erica Price for being accepted to graduate school at UVA in The Curry School for Speech Pathology and Audiology!

3 SORORITY NEWS Alpha Phi encourages everyone to donate to the fundraising page "Shine On Casey" for the Nike Half Marathon April 28 in honor of Alpha Phi Casey Schulman. All proceeds go to the JEB Stuart Education Foundation for a scholarship in her name. They would like to raise $20,000, so please help them out! A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. They congratulate Hope Stadulis, Katie dorset, Wilson Hammett, Katherine Roderick, Kelsey Tetsworth, and Kristen Wheln for being accepted into the Order of Omega. They are excited to be the chapter with the most members in Order of Omega than any other fraternity or sorority on Grounds! Pi Beta Phi, in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, Kappa Delta is proud of Megan Reilly for being Members of their chapter volunteered throughout are excited for Christine Coogle for her participated in Read Across America Week. the week at Johnson and Venable Elementary Schools reading children's books while dressed in Cat in the Hat costumes! accepted into the Order of Omega! They also outstanding performance in her Distinguished Major Recital and Clair McKercher in her performance in God's Ear. Sigma Delta Tau wants everyone to support them in their Paint War: Fight to the Death Philanthropy this Saturday, March 23 at 12 PM in Nameless Field. It's going to be SO much fun! Sign up your team by tomorrow March 22 on the Lawn or online. Teams should be 8-10 people. All proceeds will benefit Prevent Child Abuse in America. All the places we go and things we do for spring break!

4 ON GROUNDS Not sure what to do with your old PROM Dresses? Student Council is collecting old Prom Dresses! Collection boxes are available in each sorority house and in the Student Council Office. The sorority that donates the most will have an event at Sushi Love! CRAZY about Art? Come out to ARt Madness March 22-30th! This is a celebration of UVA's artistic communities and talent and will host a wide aray of events, from performances to panels. The week will kick off with the ARTStravagaza performance nights this Friday (22) and Saturday (23). Check out the online calendar and Facebook event. Fact #1: 1 in every 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Fact #2: Cancer is the leading disease killer among year olds. Don t like these statistics? FIGHT B ACK by signing up for Relay For Life at U VA! ( Join your sorority s team today and on April 19-20, 2013, Relay for Life will C ELEBRATE their fundraising efforts with a night of entertainment, prize, and ceremonies from 6pm- 6am! The top sorority fundraising team will win an evening yoga class at Lululemon with sparkling water and treats! Apply to the T. Rodney Crowley, Jr. Scholarship! This prestigious award is given to a 4th year that demonstrates scholastic and athletic abilities, leadership qualities, sportsmanship, and integrity! 5 ISC EXEC CALLING ALL SHOE LOVERS! Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) is opening a store in Charlottesville on March 28th! From March 24-April 7, bring in your old shoes that you would like to donate to PACEM! The sororoity that donates the most shoes will be rewarded with a shopping trip for the entire chapter at DSW's new store AND $25 giftcards to all members! Travis Manion Run Apply to be on the exec board for this great 5K run through Charlottesville that raises money toward the Travis Manion Foundation, which helps support families of veterans and heroes after the 9/11 attack. You can be a chair or member of: Publicity Logistics Corporate Sponsorship The event will take place on September, 8 next fall! Applications are due April 4th.
