1 THE BANNER May 2016 ROLL N REBELS South East Area Chapter of FMCA Editor: Sandy Ritcey sandyr7725@yahoo.com President: Chris Robinson V Pres: Chuck Copeland 2nd VP/Wagon Master: Chuck Mentzel Secretary: Sandy Ritcey Treasurer: Bob Wise Natl Director: Fran Hanrahan Alt Natl Director: Lynn Hice Board of Directors: Frank Colletti Dan Hice Judy Copeland Linda Olenych Jim Wilson Webmaster Dave Haney rollnrebels@gmail.com Website - The Prez Sez A Successful Rally Season The rally season is over and it went out with great gathering of the Roll N Rebels in a great spot. Everyone went somewhere, Tarpon Springs, downtown Dunedin, Clearwater, etc. Fountain in Tarpon Springs Great food at the potluck and great food at the Lucky Dill, it sure gets quiet when the food comes and a surprise dessert from the manager. Vicki & I along with Nola and Dave spent money in Tarpon Springs and stopping at Mama s for a gyro (yearo), mmmmmmmmm. It seems whenever we have rallies we run into fellow Rebels in our wanderings. The Dunedin farmers market seemed to be a favorite. Happy Hour
2 sunshine. Some of us missed part of happy hour due to taking a shower after being in the pool. OOPs! We then went in different directions for dinner. The next day we all went in different directions from Dunedin to Tarpon Springs to Clearwater. We met at 4pm for happy hour and then had a great pot luck dinner, with chicken being our main course. Desserts were great too with ice cream sundaes to boot. Yummy in our tummies! We then watched a wonderful and funny movie called The Intern with Robert De Niro. Great pick!! Our hosts even furnished us popcorn, but alas we were all too full to eat any. Sleepy Hour I know many of you are going away for part or all of the summer. Have an enjoyable safe trip. Send Sandy pictures of your journey s and even write an article. Chris May Rally Our last rally of the season was in Dunedin. Our hosts for the rally were Carol, Paul, Judy and Chuck. Thank you guys for a great time and good eating! Most of us arrived on Thursday and headed for the pool to enjoy the cool water and warm
3 Tom & Linda you re thinking too hard or not awake? Judy what are you doing to Chuck? All of us hungrily awaiting our dinner. The next morning we met at 8:30 for a great breakfast and made plans for the day, all in different directions of course. Later we met at the Lucky Dill for dinner. Afterwards we played some games in the club house. Preparing for the big game. L-C-R
4 a safe and fun summer. Be sure and send pictures and a blurb about what you did this summer. That way everyone can travel with you a little. Or show us what you were up to this summer. I heard someone say they were remodeling. Whatever you do have fun first!! Hope to see you in October. Nola and Dave have some great ideas for our 1 st rally of next season. Hint- Be thinking of a costume to wear. Fun was had by all. Dave and Fran were the big winners. Of course Nola put all Dave s in her pouch for safe keeping. Judy Copeland May 26 Ron Lee May 22 Dean May 22 Robbins May 5 Fran Hanrahan Jun 27 Susan Scalise Jun 9 Jim Wilson Jun 16 Copeland Jun 27 And of course at happy hour we had a special award for Cheryl. She was presented with a bubble wrap suit and feeler sandals to keep her safe from falls. We know she will wear them in good health!! Nothing but the best for our club members.. Haffey Jun 12 Hice Jun 29 Jean Corsetti Jun 2 Sunday morning we got together for continental breakfast before wishing everyone
