BEST IN THE NORTH: The Storm Chasers hold a 2.0 game advantage over both the Iowa Cubs and Oklahoma City RedHawks, which is tied for their largest division lead of the 2014 season. Omaha has swung 3.5 games since August 1 (trailed Iowa by 1.5 games at the end of July). NON-CONFERENCE AT WERNER: The Storm Chasers have taken the first two games of the series, and are on the verge of only their second non-conference series win in Werner Park history. The other was the second non-conference series ever at Werner Park, when they defeated the Tucson Padres 3-1. Omaha has split nine series and lost five series (including two this season).
