The Rockets finished a close second to Ball State in the division standings, equalling the sixth-most conference wins in UT annals. The Midnight Blue & Gold played its best baseball at the end of the season and advanced to the finals of the Tournament for the second time in school history (). Their late-season run came to an end with a setback to tourney champion Kent State at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe. IMPRESSIVE WIN TOTAL: Toledo won contests last spring and finished in second place in the West Division standings. The Rockets conference victories tied for the most in the last decade and also equalled the sixth-most all-time in school history. The single-season record is wins set in. CINADR EARNS ACADEMIC ALL- DISTRICT HONORS: Senior RHP Jeff Cinadr was named first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV. As an all-district honoree, Cinadr was eligible for consideration for Academic All-America. District IV is comprised of colleges and universities in the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Cinadr, a bioengineering major with a. GPA, appeared in a school-record games out of the bullpen last spring, sporting a - ledger with a team-low. ERA and two saves. APR is a gauge of every team s academic performance at a given point in time.
