KNUCKLEBALLER AMONG NEW FACES The Rays have recalled C Curt Casali and RH Ryan Garton from Triple-A Durham and selected the contract of RH Eddie Gamboa as rosters expanded when Gamboa becomes the second knuckleball pitcher in Rays history, joining RH Dennis Springer, who in 1998 appeared in 29 games including the franchise s inaugural game when he threw 3 scoreless innings of relief he will wear No. 59 after Wednesday s game in Boston, INF Tim Beckham was optioned to Durham.
