Aderlin Rodriguez drove in the only runs with a two-run double in the sixth inning. Josh Rodriguez added two hits while Gavin Cecchini went 3-for-4. Luis Cessa earned the win, scattering three two-out hits over six innings. Paul Sewald stranded the tying runs on base to earn his eighth save. The game was played in front of the largest NYSEG Stadium crowd in nearly three years (6,216). BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Michael Fulmer makes his fifth start of the season with Binghamton and the first of his career against Altoona. Last time out, Fulmer allowed two unearned runs in 5.1 innings against Akron. He walked a season-high three, while matching a season-high with four strikeouts. This will be Fulmer s second road start of the year with the B-Mets. His lone win came on the road against Akron. All of his earned runs allowed have come in either the first or fifth innings of his starts. ALTOONA STARTER: RHP Angel Sanchez makes his 10th start of the year and the first of his career against Binghamton. The righty is coming off a win in his last start, allowing two runs over eight innings against New Hampshire. He has pitched to a 5.14 ERA in May after allowing an earned run in 22.2 April innings. Lefties are batting.291 against the starter, compared to.219 for righties. VS. ALTOONA: Binghamton went 6-4 against Altoona in 2014, including 4-3 on the road.
