Michael Fulmer tossed six shutout innings, matching a season-high with nine strikeouts, in his sixth win of the year. Paul Sewald notched his 14th consecutive save and 16th overall. Jonathan Galvez went 3-for-3 with two RBI, while former Rock Cat Joe Benson drove in the first B-Met win. BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Robert Gsellman is making his 11th start of the season and second against New Britain. Gsellman is coming off his first no-decision in a B-Met uniform, allowing one run in a season-high 7.1 innings. The righty notched the win against New Britain at New Britain Stadium earlier this year, surrendering one run in six frames. Gsellman has worked to a 2.75 ERA in his last eight starts. NEW BRITAIN STARTER: LHP Harrison Musgrave is making his fourth start with New Britain and first against Binghamton. Musgrave has gone 10-1 in with a 2.88 in 16 starts with Modesto (High-A). The southpaw earned a no-decision in his last start, allowing two runs in five innings against Reading. He s in search of his first win in exactly four weeks. It s his first stint in Double-A. ROCKING THE CATS: Binghamton is 9-2 against New Britain this season, outscoring the Rock Cats Binghamton has held New Britain to fewer than three runs in eight of the 11 meetings. A win Wednesday would tie Binghamton with their 2008 team for most wins in a season against New Britain since BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LETTER K: Binghamton has struck out 102 Rock Cats in the11 games between the two teams, an average of 9.3 a game.
