M E A D O W S T R E E T Newsletter Date: August - September 2015 Third Precinct - Sector 312 August and September continued to be tough months for Sector 312. While violent crime has decreased significantly from last year, property crime, though slowing, is still an issue. Lieutenant Greeting Crime Statistics Robbery Arrest 2 3 Wanted Posters 312 Neighborhood Map Our Neighborhoods Beaufont Cedarhurst Chippenham Forest Forest Hill Forest Hill Terrace Forest View Gravel Hill Hioaks Jahnke Midlothian Northrop Oxford Westlake Hills Westover Westover Hills Westover Hills West Westover South & Woods Woodland Heights 4 In August and September there continue to be Thefts from Motor Vehicles and Motor Vehicle Thefts in the neighborhoods along the river.. The majority of vehicles were unlocked and items were left in the open. Things we can all do to prevent thefts: * Lock your car doors * Never leave valuables in your vehicle * Do not leave change in the open * Report anything suspicious to the police. Police Officers are deployed by Crime Statistics and Calls for Service. In addition to making your property a difficult target the most effective deterrent to these crimes is an active community. IF YOU SEE ANY SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR CALL 911. If an incident, or suspicious person, or behavior is happening now, or has just happened call 911. The non-emergency number ( ) is for reporting purposes and elicits a significantly delayed response.. Emergency = 911 Non-Emergency = (Please place in your mobile phone.) Please know that I am always available to address your police related issues, hear your concerns or meet with you in person. Please do not hesitate to contact me. The officers of Sector 312 and I are dedicated to reducing crime and positively impacting the environment in which you live and work. Thank you for your continued support! Lieutenant John A.
