Mvement must apprach the derail prepared t stp, unless the green light is illuminated t indicate that the derail is in nn-derailing psitin. If green light is nt illuminated, mvement must nt be made ver derail until : - the selectr lever is placed in "hand psitin"; - the hand thrw lever is perated until the derail pint mves in bth directins with the mvement f the hand thrw lever; - the derail is lined by hand fr the nn-derailing psitin; - The selectr lever must be restred t "pwer" psitin and lcked, but nt befre the mvement has ccupied the derail pint.

This will be indicated t the RTC thrugh the CTC display in the RTC ffice. Shuld the system indicate that the derail has nt been restred t derailing psitin, the RTC must immediately cntact the signal supervisr t prtect this derail. 1.5 Rule 105 (c) applicable n spurs and ther tracks except n tracks f Via Maintenance Centre (MMC) 1.6 Rule 107 nt applicable at Drval. 1.7 Hand Brakes A maximum f tw hand brakes required n equipment left n track O029 at Turct Quest. 1.8 Signals 22R and 26R gverning mvements frm tracks DX1 and DX2 at Ballantyne must be cnsidered lw mast signals. 1.9 Switching Signals Pinte-St-Charles : Signal 410RC - Signal 412RC 1.10 Rule 82A - Ballantyne -When a track ccupancy permit is issued between signals 22R - 26R - 34L - 38L - 42L and switches 23A A and 51A, the track unit must nt prceed beynd the fllwing sign: 1.11 Inspectins - Unit trains handling cvered hppers must be given a pull-by inspectin n bth sides f the train at crew change-ff at Turct Quest r Suthwark. Switch - Mile After btaining permissin frm the RTC, switch f track O029 at mile 3.72 may be left lined and lcked in reversed psitin. Crews taking charge f a mvement n the freight track must apprach this switch prepared t stp fr a switch nt prperly lined. 2.3 Track DX1 - Extends frm signal 22R at Ballantyne t signal 12L at 55ieme Avenue. 2.4 Track DX2 - Extends frm signal 26R at Ballantyne t switch 41 at Ballantyne. 2.5 Track DX3 - Extends frm signal 34L at Ballantyne t switch 29 at Ballantyne.

Remtely Cntrlled RTC Mntreal A train r engine may be given exclusive wrk authrity which permits mvements in either directin within the interlcking limits. A track unit perating in accrdance with Sectin 2 f "Track Units" f the CN Operating manual must btain written authrizatin befre ccupying the interlcking limits. CTC authrizatin frms may be used fr this purpse. Hand Brakes need nt be applied n equipment left in yard. Track PB09 - mile 1.81 Due t distance between tracks at west end f track PB09, mvements must nt prceed past the Blck clearance pint sign until signal 412RC displays a permissive indicatin. Public crssing at grade Bridge Street Track PD10 - Stp sign n west side f crssing. Mvements must be manually prtected. Equipment restrictins Tracks PG09 - PG10 : Only hpper cars are authrized inside the dme n these tracks. 6.2 PORT SPUR Frm switch PD08 (Pinte-St-Charles yard) t Berri street. Permissin must be btained frm the Prt f Mntreal yardmaster befre perating n the tracks east f crssing mile 0.3 (Riverside) The yardmaster can be reached : - by radi : channel 5 cde by telephne : Mvements entering the Prt f Mntreal must ntify Prt Security befre ccupying Bridge street and mvements leaving the Prt must ntify them minutes befre leaving.
