1 2016 Issue No. 11 Nov CHRISTMAS BREAK-UP SHOOT AND LUNCH SATURDAY 17 DECEMBER 11AM We will have the same wonderful meats as we had last year, and there will be an icecream cart. Bring a salad to share. Shoo ng and lunch will be followed by presenta on of awards, and raffle draws for a basket of goodies and a Christmas stocking. Please put something in the basket and/or the stocking when they appear in the Clubroom. So come along and enjoy a relaxing day before the busy Christmas week kicks off. Please enter your name on the Club s no ce board if you plan to a end. NEWS FROM THE MEETING ON FRIDAY 18 NOVEMBER Now that summer has finally arrived, the watering system has been checked and found to require some repairs. Please pile dead branches behind the Club building, out of the way. This helps our volunteer groundsman, Jonathon Cox, who otherwise has to do it himself. Also, if shredded plas c material falls out of the bu you are using, or if you pull out loose material, please PICK IT UP AND DISPOSE OF IT IN A BIN. DON T LEAVE IT ON THE GROUND FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK UP. Quite a number of people have paid incorrect amounts for their annual club fees. Check that you are paying the right amounts as listed on the no ce board opposite the kitchen unit.
