Minutes from last meeting. One Life is taking over Woughton Leisure Centre. Further to the information meeting held on 12 th January One Life confirmed that MKINL s ongoing booking is secure and that any price increase would be instigated by Milton Keynes Council. They will be carrying out some refurbishments to the changing rooms, the sports hall will remain as it is. Minutes from the last meeting were approved. 2. Venues Radcliffe will make a decision regarding scheduling for their new sports hall soon. MKINL have ed our interest in booking for Tuesdays from 7pm until 10pm. TI informed the committee that the cost will be 80 per hour. LFJ will confirm with Radcliffe what the cost would be. A new sports hall is being built as part of Brooklands Secondary school development. LFJ is waiting to hear from One Life regarding availability in the future. Shenley has a new hall but it is not big enough for MKINL requirements. Shenley has been provisionally booked for 6.30pm to 9.30pm for next season. JH to teams and ask if this is suitable? Woughton Leisure Centre is to be booked for next season on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. 3. Correspondence Query received regarding Amazons v Fusion match at Shenley on 19 th January MKINL committee can confirm that no further action is necessary. The duty notes and score cards (signed by both teams) state that Amazons conceded the game due to injury. Danielle Goggins, GK, injured 10 minutes into the second quarter. An ambulance was called.

2 4. Duty 12 th January 2016 Bletchley College VWFS umpire went to wrong venue umpiring covered. VWFS v Lightning match cancelled by VWFS. Win awarded to Lightning. Goals for and against to be averaged at the end of the season. Bletchley Leisure Centre Leighton Buzzard GK, Shelia, injured wrist. Alex Richardson of MK Dynamos injured ankle. Please see All England Netball website for an accident report form if necessary. Hazeley Injury to Time Systems GK. Please see All England Netball website for an accident report form if necessary. No umpire number for K Sanders MKINL admin error. Woughton Leisure Centre Duty team: Railway Rockets. No umpire number for Sue Lowth. No points will be deducted on this occasion. All teams and umpires are reminded that umpire lists are in all duty boxes for reference. Netters Blaze v Panthers Onyx cancelled by Panthers Onyx. Netters Blaze awarded the win, goals for and against to be averaged at the end of the season. 19 th January 2016 Bletchley College Technip Flames player injured ankle. Lauren Hamer, Coopers, injured ankle. Please see All England Netball website for accident report form if necessary. Bletchley Leisure Centre nu GS refused to shake hands with GK. All teams and players are reminded to adhere to the MKINL code of conduct. Hazeley Brackley Eagles v Panthers Jets cancelled by Brackley Eagles. Win awarded to Panthers Jets, goals for and against to be averaged at the end of the season. Shenley Fusion v Amazons. Injury to Danielle Goggins, GK of Amazons. Amazons conceded match. Please see All England Netball website for an accident report form if necessary. Shenley - No pens in duty box. This will be rectified. Shenley no accident forms in box. Accident forms are available on the All England Netball website. Woughton Leisure Centre Duty Team: Panthers Onyx, only 2 duty members on duty until 7.35pm. Panthers Onyx has incurred a 6 point deduction as per MKINL rules. Brackley Falcons GK injured in 4 th quarter. Please see All England Netball website for an accident report form if necessary.

3 5. Results Up to date as of 19 th January All deductions applied. 6. Affiliations All teams please remember that you must supply an additional master signature sheet when you affiliate a new player. 12 th January Jo O Driscol played up to Chelbridge Flyers. 19 th January Su Russon transferred to nu Aztecs. Jo Sinatra Small played up to Chelbridge Rockets. Olney 1 have still not completed and returned their master signature sheet, they have already had points deducted as a result. The committee will decide at the next meeting what further action should be taken if the form has not been received. SP to contact Olney1. 7. Umpiring All umpires who have applied to be assessed are up to date. 2 umpires have applied to be assessed for Prem level games. All teams if you have anyone interested in attending a C Award umpire course please umpiringsecretary@gmail.com If numbers are sufficient and it is cost effective we may be able to arrange a course in conjunction with Aylesbury. JP and AC will assess/support all Division 1 umpires over the coming weeks, as they have done with Prem umpires, to ensure standards are maintained and offer advice if necessary. A C Award Theory Test paper is to be held in Aylesbury on 2 nd March mkinlumpiringsecretry@gmail.com if you are interested in taking the paper. Please The last 2 Beginner Level umpires were tested last Tuesday. Congratulations to Faye Garvey and Laura Goodyear who both passed. Further to the last meeting minutes AC confirmed contact details for the 16 year old C Award umpire nicbayman@hotmail.com Please remember that this umpire must have an adult with her whilst umpiring. The address above is for her mum. 8. Treasury A full report was given. Profit & Loss for Jun 14 to May 15 is now finalised. Once a copy invoice has been received the accounts will be sent to an Accountant for audit. Bletchley College have cancelled 7 th June booking, this date was booked for end of season play offs. Hazeley has been booked instead.

4 MK Storm owes 20 in court fees. Indetech are to post a cheque for 20 for court fees. New Lloyds account is now up and running alongside the Nat West account. There will be a test of the online payment system this week. The website subscription has been renewed. LH will be standing down as Website and PR person for MKINL at the end of the season. If anyone is interested in filling this position and potentially helping to create a new MKINL website, please let us know via mkinlcontact@gmail.com 9. Any other business The committee further discussed how to spend the rebate received from the bank. Ideas include free registration to the Winter League for existing teams, new rule books for umpires, subsidised entry to the Summer League for existing teams, a Year7/Year 8 Netball Day/Tournament. NET 10 FOR LIFE is an England Netball initiative to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please see poster below.
