2 About Us The Sea Angling News is the UK s only free national sea angling news paper. Printed monthly it contains 28 pages of industry news, regional reports and competition results, fishing tackle and charter boat reviews, catch pictures, details of angler friendly accommodation and much more all for free. The team at Sea Angling News are committed to maintaining a quality service to the sea angling community by continually improving the content and coverage of the paper. The SAN publishes regular catch reports from charter skippers and volunteer reporters from around the coast which give the angler an honest - as it is - unbiased report on how the fishing really is. Gear reviews are regularly written in the SAN. The products are properly tested in the field by anglers on both shore and afloat. Competitions are also a regular feature with prizes sponsored by Snowbee, Red Gill, Devon Baits and Tronix Pro. PRINTED EDITION Our printed edition has a readership of up to 10,000 sea anglers. ONLINE EDITION The online edition of the SAN gets well over 100,000 impressions per year. SOCIAL MEDIA Our Facebook page has well over 5000 followers and our posts reach up to 100,000 people. 4 Editorial Team THE ONLY FREE NATIONAL SEA ANGLING NEWSPAPER Keith Wigglesworth Proprietor / Admin Keith Wigglesworth is a life long passionate angler from Somerset. In 2015 the 60 year old retired civil servant was able to turn his love of sea angling into a business venture when he and his son James bought the free newspaper, The Sea Angling News. Keith still works part time for the local authority but in his spare time can usually be found on a charter boat somewhere in the Bristol or English channels or in some exotic foreign location indulging in his love of species fishing. James Wigglesworth Proprietor / Sales James has been fishing from a very young age and is competent in many disciplines of our sport. Whether it be the beach, boat or scratching around on piers with his LRF rod in hand you won t find him too far from the sea. The last few years has seen him cutting his teeth in the world of angling media through writing and photography. Adam James Editor / Design & Layout Adam spent 27 years in the print industry - on weekends and days off he was a freelance charter boat skipper & RNLI volunteer helm. He s been fishing and around boats since the age of 4. Being editor at the SAN was an ideal step to take and he has now been producing the Uk s only free sea angling news paper for the last 6 years. Craig Butler Reporter / Gear Reviews Craig has been writing for the SAN for 6 years and has fished for over 40 years. His passion for sea angling is unprecedented. He has worked in the tackle trade for over ten years and has a keen eye of new products coming onto the market. Craig is also an Angling trust level two sea angling coach, giving tuition to beginners and novice anglers alike. He also runs a successful shore guiding service along the Somerset coast of the Bristol Channel. Craig also works for the local authority as assistant harbour master.
