No Drought this year, the rain the last couple of months has cut our fall Model A driving to almost nothing. As we get a little older, time sure is flying, Thanksgiving this week, then our Christmas party on December 2 nd, then Christmas, then, we ll start all over again. The November and December monthly meetings will be held during our Christmas party at Dunham s Bay. Also there will not be a newsletter in December. 2 Adirondack A s Model A Ford Club October 23, 2018 Meeting The October meeting was hosted by Chuck and Jan at their home in Moreau. Secretary Report Last month s secretary report was read and approved. Treasurer Report Beth provided a treasurer s report. Old Business 2018 New England Meet: Left over NEM license plates are available and were sold at the meeting for a $1/plate. Jim Fehl did some radiator cap modifications for a meet participant and the participant included a $100 donation for the youth program. 30 Roadster YP Project Update: It took the new Seattle owners two hours to go 8 miles. Debris in the gas tank had plugged the fuel line. New Business Jack Byrne A Fix; The Club offered to look at fixing Jack s Model A over the winter. Jack has not given the go ahead, and it may not happen. Christmas Party: The Club approved menu choices for the Dec 2 nd party. The cost will be $31 per attendee payable in advance. Marv will send out a flyer via . Christmas Charitable Donations: The Club approved $250 donations each to the Schuylerville and Fort Edward Food Pantries. Club Roster: Bill Van Doren is updating the club roster. He should be contacted for any need to change. Birthdays of the Month of October; Nancy Caputo, Carolyn Chapman, Anne Marie Egnasher, Karen Goddard, Sherry Livingston, Tom Molly, Bill VanDoren, John Zurlo Mike Vincent won $24 in the drawing. Guests and New Members: Dave & Debbie Aiken and Jay Abrams are new members. Next Meeting The next get together will be the Christmas party on Sunday, Dec 2 nd at noon.
