1 Summer, 2015 Welcome to Northern Indiana International Harvester Collectors' Club Chapter #33 Greetings from all of us here at IHCC33!
2 A word from our President, Carl Overmyer.. Carl s Comments First, I want to again thank Doug Seymour and Jerry Smoker for the time they put into making the Winter Convention a huge success. Also a big thank you to all the committee chair persons who headed up all the individual area, plus each and every member who helped in the success of another Chapter #33 event. Now let s look ahead to doing another chapter activity whatever that could be. Maybe a bus trip to a special place. We as directors are always open to suggestion for chapter activities, so please, if you came up with an idea for our chapter to do as a group, share it with any director. We will do what we can to put together your idea for a member event. Thinking about events, don t forget to come to Winamac, IN for the Power From The Past show, July 16 th -19 th, where Chapter #33 and I-H are being featured. There, twenty-five years ago was where the idea to organize I-H Collectors became a reality in the formation of a national organization. So, come and bring your I-H tractors, equipment, and memorabilia to show. There will be a member meeting on Saturday. As I write this note to you, our planting is progressing slowly. We still have a few acres of corn and soybeans to plant yet. My oldest son did now his first field of hay yesterday so I guess summer is here. The daily rains have made it difficult to plant in ideal conditions. I haven t got any special projects going yet at this time. Our Square Dancing tractor group had a show at Wakarusa, IN in April. The next one is in mid-june, then in July we perform every weekend, plus one week we perform every day. Hope to see and visit with you at a show someplace this summer. Be safe in your travels! Runnin Red, Carl As of May 18, Active Members!!!

5 Winter Convention Wrap Up In early March Chapter 33 hosted a very successful Winter Convention. This was possible because of a great group of Chapter 33 members. It was a big challenge to do this two years in a row. This year the weather cooperated, the tours went off well, the seminars were well attended, and the vendor area had a variety of items for all. We would like to thank all the committee heads and members who helped and attended to make everything run smooth. The auction was another highlight of this year s convention, over 250 items were consigned. The efficient auction team sold everything in under three hours. All of the proceeds from last years and this year s auction have been put into the scholarship fund with Marshall County Community Foundation. The hospitality room was a huge success and we would like to thank all of you who brought in all the baked goods. Also a huge thank you to all who brought equipment or displays. All of this really added to our convention. For Saturday night s Banquet the room was set like you were in IH heaven; all red, white, and black. We were extremely fortunate to have two stars from the popular RFD TV series Small Town Big Deal, Rodney Miller and Jann Carl. They put on a very entertaining program. Thanks to all who donated door prizes for the night. Again a BIG Thank You! to all who helped make this convention an event that Chapter 33 can be extremely proud to have hosted. Doug Seymour, Event Chairman CLASSIFIED ADS All Chapter #33 members are entitled to one free classified ad per issue. Ads will not automatically repeat, if you want them in a second time you must resubmit them. For Sale: 1979 Scout II Rallye. Older restoration. All the bells and whistles.
