Rachel has been involved with dance team, company, and studios throughout her life. She has enjoyed teaching ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and tumbling at studios in the Springs which has launched her into being the dance instructor at Hope Montessori Schools for ages 2-5 years old for the past three years. Rachel has a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado and is passionate about loving and serving children. Classes are held every week of the month, whether that month has 4 or 5 weeks. The months with a 5 th week are used to make up for any classes missed due to holidays, school break or sickness, scheduling conflicts, etc Description of classes: Beginner techniques are taught including ballet positions and terms, creative movement and the nurturing of expression and creativity. Soccer Buddies Soccer Buddies is a child development soccer program for children ages 15 months through 5 years. Our high-energy, well trained coaches will take your child on an imaginative roller coaster ride through a jungle safari and into outer space all the while building their motor skills, physical fitness, confidence, coordination and more through the game of soccer. Weekly, 45-minute classes include songs, chants, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers regardless of their own musical ability. Semester length varies from 9-11 weeks during the year and 6 weeks during the summer. Spring Triangle session starts April 6th and runs until June 6th! This Spring we will learn twenty-five new songs! We'll jump and jive with "Allee Galloo", go to the beach with the Spanish song "Maria Isabel", create jazzy rounds with "Hey, Ho, Nobody Home", dance in asymmetric meter to "Stick Dance", layer rhythms on the drums with "Drummers Marching", and howl along to one of my all time favorites, "Old Blue"! I have to mention it is always a riot seeing what everyone comes up with when it's their turn to be the leader in "Can You Do What I Do"? In addition to your weekly 45-min classes, your tuition includes materials for you to use at home, access to the online Family Music Zone, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas. Get up and move as we journey through the different habitats of Africa and meet some animal friends hat might dwell there! We ll check out snakes, lizards a pancake tortoise, bats and more. We ll get to touch real animal fur & see some skulls, learn some bio facts and make a craft. 6 GOLF NEWS th Annual The Russell Golf Tournament Friday, May 1 st. This event is limited to the first 54 that sign up so please do so quickly. To kick off the 2015 tournament season we will be continuing this great tradition. To honor all that Russ did for the Club, we named our season opening event "The Russell." This tournament is designed for three members to play with one employee in a four person ABCD random draw best ball. We would like to create an environment of good camaraderie and fun so please feel free to invite the staff member in you group to join us following the round for Russ favorite, chicken fried steak dinner in the La Fortezza! This event is open to our Golf Members and their spouses only. Please RSVP by calling the Golf Shop at Kentucky Derby Couples Party! - Saturday, May 2 nd, This fun event is limited to the first 12 couples who sign up. After The round each team will pick a horse in the Kentucky Derby field. The order in which you finish the golf portion of the event will determine the draft order of the horses. Rallying has come together for these players, yet is still a factor. These players have experience in match play and some have played in Satellite Tournaments. Competitive college tennis is a goal for these players. These players possess fundamentals, but will focus on the game through strategy, court positioning, and anticipation skills.
