3 Dear Members, Since November of 2006, members of Greeley Country Club, Fort Collins Country Club, and the Fox Hill Club have enjoyed a strategic partnership that allows access to all three Clubs. This has been facilitated by utilizing an online tee-time system called ForeTees. They have been a great partner to all three of our Clubs, and continue to provide a convenient method for members to make tee times. As you can imagine, technology has changed since 2006 and ForeTees has approached our Clubs with a proposal to upgrade the system. This upgrade includes a dedicated App for your Iphone or Android device. This will allow you as members to quickly access your home Club tee sheet from your phone without having to go through your Club s website, as well as have pertinent Club information at your fingertips. This technology also allows your Club the ability to get pertinent information to you in an efficient and timely manner through push notifications. All three Clubs have been able to test the App, and we are all in agreement that this upgrade will enhance the user experience for our members. In order to complete this upgrade and produce a dedicated App for each Club, we have to sacrifice the ability to view partner Clubs tee sheets. This does not change your access to the Clubs at all; it just means your Home Club s Golf Shop will need to make tee times for you at the partner Clubs. Our Golf Professionals are ready to facilitate this for you whenever you have a request. The relationship between our three Clubs remains strong; and we look forward to continued growth amongst our memberships. Now may be the perfect time to share all your Club has to offer with your friends! With our exciting new Membership Referral Program, we ve made it even easier and more rewarding for you to do just that. We have kicked off our newest Membership Referral Program at the Club! It is as easy as this: Regardless of your current category of membership, you can refer a friend for Membership to us and we will take care of all the details. You can rest assured that your referral will be treated with the same attention to detail that you expect and enjoy at the club. Here s the best part while your referral enjoys a private, personalized tour of the Club and access to all the amenities with our compliments, as a way of saying thank you to you, should your friend decide to join as a member, you will receive a referral fee. Here is how the program will work. From now until May, 31 st the golf initiation fee will be reduced from $3, to only $1, Our Social Membership initiation fee will remain at $ The referring member will receive a $400 credit for each member they refer on their account. Also, the referring member will be put into a drawing for one of three grand prizes. Each and every member referred will add another entry and a chance to win the drawing. If you refer three members, golfing or social, you will have your name in the drawing three times. You will also be awarded $400 for each and every member referred. The first grand prize winner will receive 4 months of free dues, the second winner will win 2 months of free dues, and the third winner will win a 10-pack guest pass book, in addition to the credit already earned. The same member may win multiple times should their entry be drawn more than once. The lifeblood of our Club is a strong membership. The ownership is committed to making Fox Hill a wonderful private club and truly Northern Colorado s gem. With the addition of the Members Pub, the NEW concrete cart paths, and the remodel of the fitness room as well as the addition of $40,000 worth of new equipment, the proof is in the pudding. To help us better achieve our goals as a club, we need your support and ask each member to refer a friend, colleague, or family member to the club. As you can see, now is the perfect time to brag about your club and tell your friends that we are more than just a golf club. We also offer tennis, swimming, locker room and fitness facilities, as well as providing meeting rooms for social or business settings. In addition, members will enjoy fine dining and excellent customer service from the staff. Being a Member of The Fox Hill Club has tremendous benefits and is something you, and they, will cherish and enjoy for years to come.

5 GOLF SHOP NEWS This year's Hole-In-One Club will be on a voluntary, cash in/ cash out basis. Members wishing to participate should bring $10 CASH to the Golf Shop and sign up. You are not in the pool until we have collected your cash payment (no IOU's, promised payments, etc.). Members will not be billed to participate. If a member who is in the Hole-In-One Club makes an attested Hole-In-One (can be either 9 or 18 holes), they will get 100% of the cash in the pool on that day. The next hole-inone fund will begin the next day. The pool will continue this way throughout posting season (March 15th - Nov. 15th). If nobody makes a hole-in-one before the end of posting season, the money in the pool will carry over to the following season. Posting season has begun! This starts our summer dress code. Denim will no longer be allowed on the golf course or driving range. We will be enforcing this rule until the end of posting season. Also, the 5-some policy has begun. 5-somes are allowed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays as long as everyone in the group is riding. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays 5-somes are not allowed.

6 Important Handicap/GHIN Update!! Please note the new policy for the 2016 season: Members will no longer be automatically billed for renewing their Handicap/GHIN Number. This includes members of the MGA & WGA. Your handicap will not be automatically renewed/billed as part of your MGA/WGA dues. It is each member's responsibility to renew/activate their GHIN#. Members wishing to activate, renew, or establish their GHIN # must do so by notifying the golf shop in person, or in writing via to Stewart (skoch@thefoxhillclub.com). The $47 handicap fee will be processed through the Golf Shop point of sale system. If you have any questions regarding this change, please call the Golf Shop at

7 With the golf season finally here, I m happy to report that the course is coming out of winter in great condition. The snow storm on March 24 th dumped 17 inches of wet heavy snow on the course. When melted down that measured about 1.5 inches of water. The early warm-up brought the greens out of dormancy sooner and the rest of the course is not far behind. Greens have been mowed a handful of times and we ll be putting the first mow on everything else within the next week. If you have been out playing lately, I m sure you ve noticed all the work we ve been doing in the bunkers. So far we ve added 120 tons of sand to the greenside bunkers. Not all are complete. We should be able to finish them by mid-april. Tree work continues. We were fortunate not to have lost any trees during the snow storm, just some branches. We will be going to the grass tee on the range beginning April 5 th. Here are a few reminders as we head into full swing: Remember to thoroughly rake your bunker. Enter and exit the bunker from the backside, NOT THE FRONT FACE. Entering and exiting through the front face will disrupt the cement liner and cause it to break and surface. Bunker rakes are to be placed outside the bunkers. Utilize the sand and seed where possible and replace your divot where sand/seed is not available. Remember to fix your ballmarks. Rich s Turf Talk The water hydrants near each green are FRESH WATER and you can drink from them. Repair to the cart path edges continues. Please obey all ropes and stakes around these areas. 8 News from The Grille -Thanks to all who attend Easter Brunch. We had 263 people in attendance between the two sittings! -The Grille will be open Tuesday s starting April 5 th! 11am-8pm. -Weather permitting, the cart will start to run in April, Saturdays and Sundays. As we move into season, we will be running it Wednesday PM, Thursday PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be serving breakfast off the cart Saturday and Sunday s. Please continue to call in lunch orders at Hole 7 where the grab and go menu is posted. -Our next member event is Friday, April 15 th with Trivia from 8-10pm. Teams of 8 will compete for the first ever Fox Hill Trivia Championship! More details to come -Prime Rib night is Friday, April 22 nd. Reservations are required -Chef Aaron is working on a new spring/summer menu. We will also be making some changes to our wine/mixed drink menu.

9 News from The Grille -We will be utilizing one of our taps as a revoling tap..don t worry, Coors Light, Stella and Dales will always be on! Check out some of our new can selections. Samuel Adams Lager, Samuel Adams Seasonal, Oskar Blues Pinner, Linenkugel Summer Shandy, Angry Orchard Hard Cider (gluten free!) and Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch. Keep an eye out for some non-beer can selections such as white and red wine spritzers and Moscow Mules. -Please remember that we do not accept to go orders the last 3 days of the month. -Please try to utilize your minimums throughout the month. By doing so, you elevate long ticket times at the end of the month. We see our average time to prepare food almost double the last few days of the month. -We have 3 new team members. Robyn-Server, Courtney-Line Cook and Danny-Line Cook. Say hello when you get a chance! -When you get a chance, please congratulate Brooke on her promotion! Brooke will be taking on a more leadership role within Food and Beverage. She will help with training and development of staff, customer resolution and all around execution for a great dining experience. She will also be heading up banquet coordination to help ensure every event, member or otherwise is run smoothly. Congrats Brooke!

10 MGA NEWS Gentlemen of Fox Hill The last couple of months have been hit or miss (no pun intended) for golfing opportunities at Fox Hill. A beautiful Tuesday in the 70 s followed by 2 feet of snow the very next day. Some of us have escaped to warmer climates to get our golfing fix. Some of us have been in the basement watching self-help videos trying to improve our swings. And still others have hibernated, existing on football and subsequently March Madness to get us through. Well men at long last, the season is upon us. We head into April with the bloom of the azaleas and the unofficial start of the golf season THE MASTERS!! And as the PGA goes, so goes your Fox Hill MGA. The MGA is set to start the season with the Masters Draw Tournament. Just like being at Augusta, just without the good golf, the good weather, the green jacket OK, so it s nothing like Augusta. But it is the start of the season. Sign up early!!! Saturday, April 9, :00 AM tee times Sign Up Deadline: Wednesday, April 6 at 8:00pm Format: Individual Net Stroke play event. Players will receive 100 percent of their handicap for the event. You will pick your Master's partner from the Top 20 before your round and combine your net score with your partner s gross 3 rd round score. Note: Different from previous years, you get to pick your professional. So it s not dumb luck this year, you have no one to blame but yourself if you pick Dustin Johnson and he implodes on moving day. Make your own Tee Times on ForeTees Tees: WHITE tees. Entry Fee: $35 per player Skins Game: There will be a Skins game within the flights ($10 entry).

11 2016 MGA Opening Event The MGA Opening Meeting and ABCD Tournament will be on Saturday, April 23 rd. The meeting and breakfast buffet will start at 7:00am. We d like to extend an invitation to all the men of Fox Hill interested in golf to attend. Sign up for the MGA s Wednesday Night golf league will be first come first served as usual. However, sign-up for the season long match play events, both One Man and Two Man will be opened AFTER the meeting has concluded. The meeting agenda will include: Opening comments General results of the MGA Survey distributed last Fall Discussion of changes to policies and formats from previous years. Handicap policy Schedule adherence for season long one and two man match play tournaments The format for the Men s Wednesday Night Golf League An overview of the schedule for the 2016 year 2016 MGA Budget Golf Course Update Communication Schedule booklets and laminated business cards distributed We are excited about the 2016 Season and looking forward to seeing all of you for the Masters Draw April 9 th and the Opening Event April 23rd!

12 WGA NEWS Dear Women of The Fox Hill Club, Are you ready to start playing golf? Sign up sheets for summer long Twilight Thursday evening, 9-hole team match play, and 18-hole team match play, are posted in the ladies locker room. The WGA opening Tuesday Mixer is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9:00am. Join us to play nine holes and have lunch together. All day on Tuesday there will be a fashion FootJoy shoe sale. Shoe samples will be available to try on and special orders taken. Orders can be charged to your member account. If you can t make the Tuesday Mixer make sure you have the Opening Dessert on your calendar, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at FHC. All FHC women are invited and welcome to attend this informational meeting. Come and find out more about playing in the WGA events this year. 13 Tennis News Dear Fox Hill Members: We are going to have some wonderful spring weather coming up! Please contact me at for information on our 2016 programming for tennis. If you are busy preparing for league season and tournaments, we are forming some groups to help you train and sharpen your skills for this upcoming season. We will offer private and group lessons, tournament play, leagues, and socials for our members this summer. Our 4 courts were re-surfaced June of The courts are in great shape and two of them are striped for pickleball. Call or me if you have any questions or would like to set up some lessons!
