A limited number 20 of your ASGA friends will have the opportunity to play nine holes at this easily accessible par 3 course, so don t wait to sign up! Oak Marr Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 3 course that is a great way to work on your golf game this early in the season. Price: $25 for both ASGA-DC members and guests. The price includes greens fees only. There are no golf carts - all players must walk, thus you must either carry your bag or use a pull cart. Pull carts are available to rent at the course for $ st Tee Time: 12:20 p.m. Arrive early and warm up by making use of the large driving range and the extensive chipping and putting areas. Apres-Golf: Those wanting to will have the option of gathering at a nearby venue to have some food/drink and share stories of their round. 3 Recent Events It was a cool and rainy Sunday afternoon on March 13th, but that proved no obstacle to the 23 people who came to our ASGA- DC mixer at Not Your Average Joe's in Bethesda to welcome the start of Daylight Savings Time. Most of the ASGA-DC Board were in attendance, as were a number of long-time chapter members. In addition we were able to give a warm welcome to several new chapter members, many of whom joined this winter due to our successful recruiting efforts at the DC golf expo. We also welcomed a few people who were not members but interested in meeting other singles and finding out more about ASGA. Food and drink were shared and the conversations were lively. All in all I'd say it was another really fun and successful ASGA-DC social gathering. ~Scott Hall ASGA-DC Communications Our main avenue of communications is our website -- Our social and golf schedule are published on the website and updated frequently. Check the list below for National websites. Since having to check back to the website for schedule updates and pairings updates is inconvenient, we also have a Yahoo listserve. Announcements on upcoming social and golf events, as well as reminders and updates to these events, are sent out to subscribers to the listserve.
