5 Survivor Challenge Monday, May am 1 pm (Cookout starts at 1 pm) Swim Park $20 per team ALL AGES! Cost includes supplies and prizes. Get your family and friends ready for the challenge of their lives. We have planned an adventurous journey to all ages including a scavenger hunt, team challenges and much more. The team with the most points wins a designated PARKING SPOT at the Swim Park valid this summer (2008). All challengers should ride bikes, scooters or rollerblades (bike trailers are welcome). No one is allowed to drive. The course takes place throughout Eagle Harbor. The adventure begins and ends at the Swim Park. We ask that teams consists of 3-8 participants (at least one adult per team/family). RSVP with payment at the Waterfront Park by May 20. Hunger calls after adventures like this, so join us at the Swim Park for a Memorial Day Cookout.

6 N e i g h b o r h o o d W a t c h Eagle Harbor Neighborhood Watch would like to welcome our newest Neighborhood Captains. They are Dominick Bello and Jim Wood from The Enclave, Mary Holtcamp from Linkside and Barbara Bennett from Heron Bay. The volunteers from these three neighborhoods organized their Neighborhood Watch and attended training in March with Clay County Sheriff's Deputy Keith Smith. Thanks to them and their Block Captains for helping to keep our community safe and secure. car hopping. 10 C D D The CDD Board meets once a month and meetings are open to the public. Meeting agenda, minutes and other documents of interest can be found on the community webpage in the community section. The Board approved a partial release of roadway for a portion of Parcel 24B of the Crossings at Fleming Island for East West Parkway. District Manager Items The Board did not approve the Information Center to be utilized by Clay County Elections as a Precinct. There was a discussion regarding the Complimentary Guest Pass and Guest Policy. Mr. Rob Bradley, CDD Attorney, will draft revisions for future discussions. Staff presented Department Updates, information on the 2008 Florida Association of Special Districts (FASD) and at this time no one will be attending. Staff also presented the Monthly Status of Open Items tasked to GSG. The 2009 Transition Plan is moving forward and a Selection Committee will review the proposal received from possible services providers and provide the Board with a recommendation at the April 24, 2008 meeting. There was a discussion regarding the Information Center at Eagle Harbor usage. The Board will continue to receive recommendation from residents and discuss at the meeting. Finance Items Staff presented the February 2008 Financial Statement, Bond Requisitions, Check Register and Balance Sheet. Minutes The Board approved the February 28, 2008 Regular Meeting minutes as amended by the Board. *For more information regarding the March, 2008 Board meeting, please visit the Eagle Harbor website. Eagle Harbor is comprised of six separate HOA s. Each HOA board is responsible for enforcing specific Covenant and Restrictions for their respective neighborhood(s). Covenant and Restrictions are enforced by three separate entities: HOA, ARC (Architectural Review Board) and the CDD (Community Development District). The HOA is responsible for enforcement of ongoing residential concerns, generally items listed under Article V in the Covenants and Restrictions: lawn maintenance, nuisances, trash cans, etc. Find out more about each HOA, the area they cover etc. at > Community > HOA Eagle Harbor Homeowners Association HOA ANNUAL ELECTIONS THIS SUMMER Eagle Harbor's Annual HOA meeting will be held this July where new board members will be elected to serve a one year term for 2008/2009. The board convenes monthly and its primary responsibilities include oversight of the Architectural Review Committee and the Covenant Enforcement Committee. The Nominating Committee looks forward to hearing from interested Eagle Harbor owners who reside within Eagle Harbor north of Hwy 220 and west of Hwy 17 and would be interested in having their name on this year's ballot.
