Fourth here in September and sixth of 15 behind third-placed (15) Attaque Parisienne latest on October 6 3. AFGHAN BARBES - Five wins in Quintes this year. Second run back from a three-month break 4. VENOSC DE MINEL - Second in a Quinte at Nantes 12 months ago. Filled the same berth here in Sepember. Fourth of 18 at Caen last month 5. ZONGULDAK - A win and a second at Cagnes-sur-Mer in the summer. Eighth of 15 here behind third-placed (15) Attaque Parisienne last time 6. TAMISSO - In the frame three times since winning at this venue in January. Barefoot this time 7. VISCONTI - Scored at Hyeres in March. Third at Auch in August. Fourth of 18 in a G3 at Caen on October AZARO D'EVA - Completed a hattrick of wins in Quintes in September. With a clear round he should be there or thereabouts 9. Sixth of 18 also here latest on October ULEXA DES PLANS - Hasn't won since Third at Enghien in a Quinte in August. To the rear at Mons on October MONTDORE - A win and a second in Sweden in May. Eighth of 16 in a Quinte at Enghien on October ATTAQUE PARISIENNE - Won here in August and third next time - both when barefoot. Shoes on this time (3) AFGHAN BARBES was in great shape prior to having a break and on his second run back has a leading chance of taking another Quinte. (8) AZARO D'EVA also has an enviable record in these races and it may boil down to a

4 match between the two. However cases can be made for Bordeaux-Le Bouscat winner (11) VENKATESH along with (4) VENOSC DE MINEL and (2) TELL ME NO LIES who will all be vying for a place at least. BALLICOD - Seventh on first two hurdles run but was better on chase debut at Compiegne this month 2. A MAGIC MAN - One flat win last year and could have a frame chance in weak affair 3. NUMBER MOON - Placed twice in seven runs but seems to have a whole lot on 4. SHAKO DE LA ROCHE - Runner up on debut but both hurdles runs since were very poor 5. THE RECKONING - One win from thirteen and some good other runs to boot. A dozen lengths behind Ballicod last time A small field claiming hurdle to start off the day. (1) BALLICOD is surely the one to side with despite an average profile in just three runs. He improved in a claiming chase at Compiegne last time and in doing so finished well ahead of (5) THE RECKONING who in turn looks well clear of (2) A MAGIC MAN and (4) SHAKO DE LA ROCHE. 19 Race 2 1. KHEOPPS - Two wins at Compiegne earlier in the year followed by another good effort and a fall 2. LIGHT GIRL - Won a flat race in August but may be better over hurdles now 3. DEVISE DES ALAMBIC - Nothing at all in her four outings and easily left out in the cold 4. PRINCESS WADDI - Yet to place in seven mixed starts and really has little chance now 5. KAMEKALINE ENKI - Dam won six times and all six foals have won including some smart types 6. PHENICIENNE - Off the mark on her third and last start at Castera-Verduzan and should improve further 7. LANAKILL - Yet to place in eight runs and looks to have zero possibilities 8. WINWHIP - Not too much to get excited about in five outings so best left alone 9. FALCOLINA MAMA - Placed once in five runs but looks a big outsider even for this This particular claiming three year old contest for fillies only is not one that will remain long in the memory when finished. (1) KHEOPPS came down last time but had exhibited enough ability earlier in the year to suggest she can take this. (6) PHENICIENNE won nicely last time at Castera-Verduzan and can shake up the selection. (5) KAMEKALINE ENKI and (9) FALCOLINA MAMA might get a piece of the action. (1) KHEOPPS - (6) PHENICIENNE - (5) KAMEKALINE ENKI - (9) FALCOLINA MAMA

20 Race 3 1. BALJAMAN - Just the one place in six outings and does not look near good enough 2. RUNNING GAG - Two wins so far this year and has been in solid form so has a little chance 3. BALLYWOOD - Has won his last two from four and sure to be involved at the death 4. KAPELOI - Fell and unshipped on both outings to date and this big sort could be a danger with clear round 5. MY SECRET - Is zero from fourteen and basically has very little hope of success 6. BOMA HAS - Won on her debut in March and good runner up last time out 7. PYRAMID BURG - A winner in both codes but will still need a very big performance to figure 8. NADIA HAS - Won on hurdles debut at Dax. Runner up next twice and forgiven last effort It is always a good idea to forgive an animal one bad run and such is the case with the Guillaume Macaire trained filly (8) NADIA HAS who was beaten a long way at Auteuil in September. She had previously shown progressive form in her three runs and can bounce back here. (4) KAPELOI has fallen and unshipped in both runs but looks a nice type. (3) BALLYWOOD and (6) BOMA HAS can come net. (8) NADIA HAS - (4) KAPELOI - (3) BALLYWOOD - (6) BOMA HAS

21 Race 4 1. PI AHIO - In splendid form this year and currently on a hat trick so has a huge shot 2. VAYANT D'ARZEMBOUY - Dual winner from twenty starts but will do well to achieve victory 3. CHOUCH'OU - Two time winner from twenty nine and has a poorish completion record 4. ENZO DU ROCH - He is two from nine in a very light career and could go well 5. MY NAME IS NICK - Has been off for twenty months since winning at Montde-Marsan. Chance if ready to go There is a disappointing field of just the five runners for this steeplechase and with a couple of them struggling for for form, it will take little winning. (1) PI AHIO really looks like the one to be on. He has won his last two and should get the hat trick. (5) MY NAME IS NICK has been away since winning last time out. (4) ENZO DU ROCH and (2) VAYANT D'ARZEMBOUY should be a long way behind the principals. (1) PI AHIO - (5) MY NAME IS NICK - (4) ENZO DU ROCH - (2) VAYANT D'ARZEMBOUY

22 Race 5 1. DING DING DONG - Two good efforts several months apart and most noteworthy last time at Moulins 2. DUR LA VIE - Fourth on debut at Dax in June and should make a jump up today 3. RAISING RIVER - Triple winner from seventeen and capable of a forward show here 4. GUS DE GENE - Did not finish on debut but better effort last time in small event 5. DELONIX DE BERCE - Well beaten eighth on debut in September and will need to do much better 6. DJAZZMAN - Showed ability when sixth on debut at Nantes last month and should be in shake up 7. ZLATAN DES DUNES - Dam won six times and her first foal has yet to score so far 8. AQUILA DE FONTAINE - Runner up on debut at Compiegne last month and is one to follow closely 9. GREAT GAZ - Nothing in two runs and looks a very big outsider for this 10. MITCH - Only win came back in 2015 but that should not really deter from chance 11. RASHAWN - Dual winner from sixteen but last few runs are very average A very confident vote is awarded to (2) DUR LA VIE in this conditions hurdle race. He was beaten a long way in fourth admittedly at Dax in June but there was still plenty to like about the run with a view to the future. (1) DING DING DONG looks the best alternative. LIASKING - Soundly beaten a year ago on debut at Chateaubriant so has a lot on 6. DREAMS DES DUNES - Second on flat debut at Granville and should come on a lot for that 7. REINE DE FLORENCE - Yet to place in a dozen outings and cannot be fancied here 8. DANSE SURPRISE - Nothing to show in seven runs and simply left out of calculations There must be a big chance for (6) DREAMS DES DUNES in this rather weak looking event. The selection ran very well on her debut at Granville when just touched off and should be able to step enough now to beat the obvious danger (2) DIMANA who has also shown ability in two starts. DESIR DE COTTE - One win from five but disappointing last two times so work to do 4. SURDOUE DE BALLON - Very little in his four runs and should be avoided again in this 5. J'AI OUBLIE NICO - Still to complete in all four runners and basically can not have a hope 6. MISS AUBALINE - A winner over hurdles in August and could have a chance of success here 7. TICKET HOLDER - Won on penultimate start and fair effort at Auteuil since. Chase debut 8. DELTA DES OBEAUX - Placed in two of her five runs and could go well in weak event 9. DEESSE DE CIERGUES - Has shown nothing in three starts and cannot be fancied at all This finale looks a bit of a two horse war between (2) DURKASH and (6) MISS AUBALINE with preference for the former who is now on a hat trick after two hurdle wins at Angouleme and Moulins. He should love fences and see off his main threat. (3) DESIR DE COTTE and (7) TICKET HOLDER can come home at a respectable distance behind the top two. LAST ADVENTURE - Well beaten on debut. Likely to improve but will need major improvement to win 4. QATAR ARROW - Improved to run fourth in a claimer last time out. Might play a minor role 5. FIESTA - Only sixth on debut. Likely to be smarter this time so might place 6. NATURELLE - Fair debut over a bit further. Could improve and finish in the money 7. ROYAL GIFT - Did not show much on debut but could have needed the experience 8. ROSE KLEDD - Did not show much on debut which was over this distance. Might improve 9. ZIE DE KET - Last run was his best. More needed to win but might place 8. GULF OF TOBA - Improved to be third in a claimer last time. Place chance in this race 9. ASSAD LAWAL - Has not shown much but has been supplemented for this race. Can improve 10. DASHWOOD BEAU - Modest debut. Likely to improve but others are preferred in this race 11.
