6 Terms and Conditions Entry conditions Online entries close Thursday, 29 March 2018 with Main-Eventscom No postal or entries will be accepted unless special arrangements are made with the show secretary All entries will be expected to pay at the time of entry using PoliPay direct crediting Scratchings and class swaps to be done online or by to Instructions on the DOCUMENTS tab online at Main-Eventscom for the show Fees and levies 1 Ground Levy $15 per horse Medical/Admin levy per rider $20 Optional catalogues $5 Compulsory ESNZ Jumping levy $5 per horse/pony 2 Stables/Covered Yards $50 for show; Open yards $25 for show There are no refunds on yards after noon on Thursday, April 5th 3 Late entries accepted with 25% late fee and start last but jump off first Refunds less 25% including levies and stabling if notified by to jumpingwairarapa@gmailcom before 5:00 pm Tuesday, April 3rd Refunds after that less 50% at the committee's discretion 4 Class changes - 25% retained and no late fee charged Class changes and scratchings must be notified to the Secretary at least one hour prior to Class Class changes not notified to secretary will be charged 50% penalty 5 Payment will be required using PoliPay as you enter online using direct credit No entries accepted without payment so please ensure you have the funds in your bank account before entering If your bank is RABOBANK or is not supported by POLIPAY, please contact the show secretary BEFORE you do entries for instructions 6 Dinner tickets for ESNZ Jumping Series Grand Final Awards Evening on Saturday will be limited in number - at $75 per person Will be available for purchase online and NOT available at the show Half price tickets for 12 years and under Tickets are to be picked up at the office by 4:00 pm Saturday There are NO refunds on tickets ordered - so it is your responsibility to onsell the ticket 7 Riders MUST check with the office before they leave the show to ensure they do not owe money Otherwise, a $25 admin fee will be charged for followup of any outstanding fees after the show Note - this show will use the ESNZ Jumping Policy on Debt Collection to followup any unpaid accounts Read more on the ESNZ website or see the policy at the show 8 Prize money allocated on 1 to 7 ratio where appropriate Prize money will be paid out by direct credit after the show so be sure to include your bank details with the online entry Riders must check their placings and prize money online by April 10th, 2017 No changes in prize money will be made after that date General conditions 1 All classes run under ESNZ rules All Series Final Classes run under ESNZ Jumping and Show Hunter Series Final conditions 2 Committee reserves the right to alter the programme and prize money 3 Ring 1 to be run in strict catalogue order Draws posted on Main-Eventscom and at the office the night before Ring 2 and Ring 3 in blackboard order unless otherwise specified at show 4 To be eligible for the GLISTENING WATERS STAKES Final, the horse/pony and rider combination must have completed the preliminary round on Saturday at the SAME height 5 Top qualifiers for final rounds of the GLISTENING WATERS STAKES will be posted and riders must confirm entry by 6:00 pm on Saturday at the office 6 Please ensure registrations and memberships are up to date Failure to do so may result in loss of points, placings, prize money after the show and may result in rider being fined under ESNZ Jumping conditions 7 Horses/ponies can compete under casual levy system for non-series classes and no higher than 120m Rpt Licensed: Main-Events Software Page 6 of 8

7 for horses and 110m for ponies but riders must be fully registered Community member riders can only compete in INTRODUCTORY level classes level classes - Intro Classes 13 & 109 for horses and Intro classes 17, 18, 30, 31, 100, 103 & 106 for ponies 8 The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry Committee reserves the right to evict and eliminate anyone who is acting in an unacceptable manner Security WILL be patrolling the grounds at night 9 Motorbikes are not to be ridden between the hours of 8pm and 6am Motorbike riders must wear a helmet 10 Standard of dress is FORMAL Tidy attire must be worn whilst walking courses 11 Dogs allowed but must be on leads at all times 12 Competitors enter at own risk and the organisers take no responsibility for any injury to horses, riders or spectators or any damage to competitors or spectators property IMPORTANT NOTICE to riders about MEDIA By entering or attending this competition, you accept that you may appear within differing media streams that are on location covering the event Your behaviour at the event and within the competition arena is at your discretion and is your responsibility Please note that there will be live streaming at the event therefore the camera may be on throughout the day Boot Rule for Young Horse Classes This is for all Age classes (4,5,6, and 7year olds) The protection must not exceed the interior length of 16cms The width of the fastener must be at least 5cmsThe width of the fastener must be at least 5cm The inside of the protection must be smooth The inside of the protection must be smooth Only Non elastic Only Non- elastic Velcro type fasteners are permitted, no hooks, buckles, clips or other methods of attaching fasteners may be used The rounded rigid The rounded rigid part of the protection must be placed around the inside of the fetlock Sheepskin is allowed Hind boots Hind boots that have an extra flap for protection are allowed, provided the flap is soft and clearly intended for protection only The width of the fastener must be at least 5cms Show Hunter conditions 1 All Riders must have a current ESNZ Rider Membership to compete in ANY Show Hunter Classes 2 All Equines must have a Current ESNZ Equine Registration and an Annual Jumping/Show Hunter Start to gain Horse of the Year Qualifying Points but can compete on a casual jumping levy WITHOUT earning points 3 Horse of the Year Qualifying Show for the Season 4 Ponies can only compete in the CORRECT Category for their height 5 Points to be awarded for placing both days excluding intro classes Points awarded as 1st = 6; 2nd = 4; 3rd = 3; 4th = 2; 5th = 1 where 66% or higher score achieved In the event of quals, refer to number of 1sts, 2nds etc 6 Winner of each championship to receive a 7 There will be 4 championship classes as follows: Championship over all Open Pony classes Championship over all Handy Hunter Pony classes Championship over all Open Horse classes Championship over all Hand Hunter Horse classes Rpt Licensed: Main-Events Software Page 7 of 8

8 Conditions for the Derby Full conditions for the Derby including scoring methodology can be viewed on our Main-Events Show page under DOCUMENTS tab 1 Judged on the following elements, Jumping, Manners, Conformation & Type, and Way of Going 2 To be judged in two phases Phase One Jumping, Phase Two Flat section 3 No restriction on gear except Bit less bridles are not permitted, and Draw reins (running reins, Market Harborough s) are forbidden Boots may be used, but not permitted in Phase Two 4 Whips not to exceed 75cm 5 No gear changes between phases except boots must be removed for Phase 2 6 The course will include a water jump No time limit, hunting pace 7 Phase 1 Jumping will be completed first Any Pony/Horse eliminated will not be required for Phase 2 SPECIAL conditions for Age Horse Classes 4 Year Old Championship 1 Competition will run over 3 days 2 One entry fee covers all 3 days of competition 3 Faults will be carried forward to the Final round 4 1st and 2nd Rounds will be run as an A1 Article Final round will be run as an AM5 Article with call back Jump Off 6 On the Final round this class will run in draw order with greatest faults going first 7 Horses can enter on an ESNZ day registration and do not have to have full ESNZ registration 8 Placings 1st 6th 9 The Hind Boot rules will be in place for this class, please see our general conditions Futurity Class 5yr, 6yr, 7yr Age Horses 1 Competition will be run over 2 non consecutive days 2 Horses must be fully registered with ESNZ 3 One entry fee covers 2 days of competition 4 Each horse to jump in its retrospective age group 5 Heights for each age group in line with National Series heights 6 First round will be run on Friday and will run in order 5yr horses, 6yr horses, 7yr horses as an A1 under Article All clear rounds from each Age will go through to the Sunday final 8 If there are not 10 clear rounds from each Age then horses with the least faults in each Age are to be included to make numbers up to 10 from each Age Any faults gained from round 1 are to be carried through to the final competition 9 The final competition will run on Sunday in order 5yr horses, 6yr horses, 7 yr horses as an AM5 under Article Placings will be awarded 1st - 8th 11 Course walk for all heights will be done before the class commences 12 The Hind Boot rule will be in place for this class, please see our general conditions Rpt Licensed: Main-Events Software Page 8 of 8
