4 ESNZ JUMPING AND CASUAL LEVIES $5 Jumping Levy - ESNZ J/SH Registered Horses and Horse competing in Introductory Classes only. $20 / $10 Casual Jumping Levy The rider must be full members with ESNZ. Horse not registered for ESNZ J/SH can compete using this levy. The levy is $20 for the first day and $10 for subsequent days at the same show (includes the $5 Jumping levy). Can jump up to 1.10 on a pony and up to 1.20 on a horse. Cannot compete in series classes and will not be eligible for HOY points in SH. Introductory Classes 80cm and under with no prize money Horse 1.20 and under Pony 1.10 and under Series Classes & above 1.20 Series Classes & above 1.10 Horse / Pony not registered for ESNZ Jumping / Show Hunter $5 for the show $20 1st day $10 Subsequent Not Eligible Horse / Pony registered for ESNZ Jumping / Show Hunter $5 for the show Riders may compete in Introductory class (80cm and under with no prize money) on a community membership. All other riders must be full members with ESNZ. Conditions Show Hunter Conditions 1. Any class with less than 5 entries may be combined. 2. Show Hunter classes run under ESNZ Show Hunter Rules & Equitation Series Conditions All riders competing in Show Hunter HOYQ and Series Classes must have a current ESNZ Rider full Membership 4. Riders competing in Introductory Classes can compete using a Rider Community Membership 5. Introductory Classes: Equines that are only competing in Introductory Classes pay the $5.00 Jumping/Show Hunter Levy. 6. Equines with a current ESNZ annual registration and an Annual Jumping/Show Hunter Start will gain HOYQ and Series points. 7. Equines competing using the ESNZ Casual Equine Start will not gain any HOY Points and cannot compete in ANY Show Hunter Series Classes. 8. Ponies may jump in any classes but must jump in their correct category for their high points. 9. From 2-4pm on Friday the 11 th of December a training session will be conducted by Rose Thompson. Ponies, horses and riders all welcome. This will be a cost of $5 per rider payable on the day.

5 General Conditions 1. All entries must be made on official ESNZ entry forms. Entries close on Fri 4th Dec with Nadia Hicks, 19 Charlton Road, Gore 9710 or 2. Enquiries welcome but NO phone entries accepted. Cheques payable to Southland Showjumping Group or bank direct to SBS be sure to use your name as reference. 3. All entry fees and prize money are inclusive of GST. 4. Combinations may only enter one Championship Class i.e 32,33,34,35,36,37,40,41,42 5. All competitors (inc unregistered), send full entry fees, Including a $5 NZ Showjumping Levy per horse/pony. Plus a ground/administration fee of $15 per horse/pony. Both these fees are non-refundable, non-deductible, regardless of scratching. 6. Stabling available for $30, yards $15 for the duration of the show. 7. There are no restrictions on how many classes you may enter, but please consider the welfare of your horse or pony. Organisers have the right to restrict the numbers of classes you are entered in if the number entries are excessive. 8. All riders, horses and ponies competing in OPEN CLASSES must be registered with ESNZ proof will be required. 9. The committee reserves the right to alter or amend the programme as it sees fit. 10. All competitions will be run under ESNZ rules. 11. Junior rider - under 18 as at 1st August Formal dress code for ring one. Art All Southland riders must complete the attached form and supply a helper. Failure to do so will incur a $40 fee payable before you are able to start in your first class. 14. Dogs must be on a leash at all times! 15. No electric fencing allowed. 16. A fee of $2 will be charged for all class changes, these must be done an hour before the class starts. 17. Any entries received after the closing date will incur a 25% penalty fee. 18. Saturday night meal will cost $10 per Adult and $5 per children under 12. This is payable at the door NOT to the secretary.

Series run over five Otago and Southland ESNZ Jumping Shows Points accumulated over the five shows go towards overall score. Points awarded to combinations over the five Otago Southland shows 2. Awards will be presented at the final Southland Show. 3. Series is open to all combinations. Not restricted to Otago and Southland riders 4. Pony points will be awarded from Open HOYQ and HiPoints classes 5. There will be a prize each for winner of Cat A, B, C Pony 6. Horse series points will be awarded from all HOYQ classes 7. There will be an Intro series points prize for horse and pony 8. The Intro series points will be awarded from the Intro classes 9. Points are allocated as follows 1 st -7,2 nd -5, 3 rd -4, 4 th -3, 5 th -2, 6 th -1
