2 HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY Woodhill Sands is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy event for all staff, and to providing the information, training and supervision needed to achieve this. We will take all practicable steps by; Providing a safe event, safe equipment and proper materials Identifying and monitoring hazards and using the hazard management hierarchy of eliminate, isolate or minimise. Insist upon establishment of safe methods and best practices Comply with all H&S legislation, regulations and codes of practice We will take responsibility for health and safety procedures, however, ALL PEOPLE ON THIS SITE need to be aware of their responsibilities and comply with the event s health and safety policy. COMPETITORS will be responsible for themselves at ALL s by observing safe practices and rules/instructions relating to their competition. Every person involved in Woodhill Sands events is encouraged to play a vital and responsible role in maintaining a safe and healthy event through: Being involved in the event health and safety system. Following correct procedures. Safe and proper use of equipment. Wearing protective clothing and equipment as and when required. Reporting any pain or discomfort as soon as possible. Ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported. Help new employees, trainees and visitors to understand the right safety procedures and why they exist. Informing the office immediately of any health and safety concerns. Keeping the event facilities tidy to minimise the risk of any trips and falls. Riders will have a 50% late entry fee charged per round. Class Changes will incur a $3 class change fee if not done via equestrian entries.

3 Important Information ENTRIES Entries can be made on line at (preferred) or on an official ESNZ entry form, filled out scanned and ed or posted to : info@woodhillsands.co.nz or PO Box 135, Waimauku 0842 REGISTRATION RIDERS Introductory members may compete in Introductory class (jumping) (80cm and under for ponies and 90cm and under for Horses Named INTRO) or with a Casual Membership Day Start $10 per day (results will not be recorded with ESNZ) All other riders must be full members with ESNZ. REGISTRATION HORSES JUMPING These are ESNZ Jumping shows, all horses should be registered for Show Jumping with SJNZ. All horses must pay $5 jumping levy per show( Compulsory) Horses not registered with SJ NZ may jump in Intro classes or Ponies to 1metre and Horses to 1.10m in Open classes with a $20 casual jumping levy paid - Cannot compete in series classes and will not be eligible for HOY points in SH. PAYMENT To avoid late fees payment should be made by close of entries to : The Woodhill Sands Trust Account: With the riders surname as reference. Riders will jump first in draw order classes and will jump off first. Riders will have a 50% late entry fee charged per round. PRIZE MONEY/REFUNDS Will be paid out at the conclusion of show to the bank account number on your equestrian entries account - (less any balance that might be owing the show if applicable) OFFICE Opens at 8am Show Jumping or 7.30 Show Hunter & Dressage.
