Refer to: Horses/Ponies Registration Requirements: Open (HOY Qualifying), High Points and Equitation classes Full ESNZ registration PLUS Jumping Annual Start and jumping levy $5 per show. HOYQ Qualifying points will be allocated. Horses registered with no ESNZ discipline start for SJ/SH can start using a Casual Start of $20 for show plus jumping levy $5 per show. HOYQ points will not be allocated. Equines competing using the ESNZ Casual Equine Registration cannot compete in ANY Show Hunter Series Classes and will not receive HOYQ points. Champion Pony and Champion Horse - Sponsored by Pearce Bros For quality used cars: Trophies kindly donated by Ballytruckle Welch Cobs. Open to ALL competitors. Points will be allocated from all placings gained in HOYQ classes over both days. Rug, Sash and Silver Salver will be presented to the Champion Pony and the Champion Horse. Winning riders must be present and mounted on the final day to receive their prizes. PGG Wrightson & Autobahn Café Denise Crispe Memorial Special Separate classes for riders on horses and ponies. Course will combine a variety of elements from the Show Hunter discipline. Prizes kindly donated by Autobahn Café, and rosettes to be awarded to 6 th place. Trophy and rug to be awarded to the hack winner. # Tara Groenestein Memorial Trophy points series Tara Groenestein Memorial Trophy will be competed as an Amateur Points Series over the following shows, Auckland 17 th 18 th November, Waitemata 1 st 2nd December 2018, Waikato 8 th 10th February 2019, with the final presentation at Waikato Show. Horse and Pony Classics for Cat A, Cat B, Cat C and Horses. Will be judged with call back. Tuakau Pony Club Teams Championship: Pony Club Branches to enter team of up to 4 riders. Branches may enter multiple teams. Any combination of Cat A, Cat B, Cat C and/or Hacks. Top 3 placings from each rider over the duration of the show to be tallied to a final team score. Trophy, embroidered rugs and sashes to the winning team. Riders will need to be current financial members of their PC Branch. Combinations will need to be ESNZ registered for Show Hunter. Rules and Conditions Show will run under Show Hunter Rules and Show Hunter Equitation Series Conditions available from ESNZ website. * Denotes HOY qualifying class. Tuakau Pony Club Team Championships will be run in conjunction with ASHG. Competitors in this Championship must meet conditions for the ASHG show as well as additional conditions set out by Tuakau Pony Club for this event. Equitation Classes riders may not ride more than one mount in an equitation class. Each mount may only compete once in any Equitation Series class. Children 12yrs and under may only enter Children s Equitation 12yrs & under classes, OR the NRM Equitation Series classes, not both. Ponies must jump in their correct height category for High Points Series classes: Category heights are: o o o Category A Ponies 133cm and under Category B Ponies over 133cm and up to and including 143cm Category C Ponies over 143cm and up to and including 148cm.

7 Ponies will not be restricted to their respective categories in Open (HOYQ) classes. Pony Classic ponies may enter only one Classic class, i.e. one of classes 43, 46 or 50. Ponies may be asked to produce current height certificates and should have these available at all times. All classes will receive prize money for the following ratio of entries 1 st - 3 entries, 2 nd - 5 entries, 3 rd - 7 entries, 4 th - 9 entries, and rosettes. Prize money will be paid by direct credit. ASHG Committee reserves the right to alter the programme, combine classes if insufficient entries, alter or ratio prize money, substitute trophies or prizes in kind for prize money. The ASHG Committee accepts no responsibility for damage, loss or injury to competitors, spectators or their property in accordance with articles 114/160 of the ESNZ General Regulations. Yards available on grounds - $15 per grass yard per day, $25 per semi-covered yard per day, $25 per stallion box per day. Please state number and type of yards required when entering. Yards must be cleaned out. Camping fee $15.00 per truck / float. Absolutely no truck parking or camping on grass alongside stables and covered yards. Due to abuse in previous years this will be strictly enforced by A&P Assn. Other Useful Information If you require a powered site, please contact the Pukekohe A&P Assn or There are special requirements, payment direct to A&P Assn. Food yummy food available on the grounds. Also available, cold drinks and the all-important coffee. This year s show will be run in draw order, not black board order. You will be sent class lists before the show, please print off your own copy. Poo s - Please clean out all yards and place in the piles provided. This will be monitored. Please do not place under fences or around trees leave under your trucks.
