The rider closest to the time with the least amount of faults is the winner. The overall rider closest to the optimum time will win the trophy rug for that class! AM7 ART & 245.3: The rider endeavours to ride the course according to how the judge has measured PINJARRA the course HORSE and speed AND it should PONY be CLUB ridden PROUDLY at. If the rider PRESENTS jumps the THE course ON POINT without error or time faults, they then go into an immediate jump off that is timed and may include a new jump. REALTY SHOW JUMPING SPECTACULAR EVENT INFORMATION Riders are placed according to time and faults in the jump off. EA jumping rules apply, the judge s decision is final!! OTT: This class is for OTT thoroughbreds and Standardbreds. This class will be included within the Optimum Time of every height. If you nominate to do optimum time in any height and own an OTT, you will automatically go into this class. Ribbons will be awarded 1 st 6 th as well as points which will be tallied and the rider with the most points at the end of each day will win the woollen rug for best performed SEPTEMBER OTT of 16 the TH, day PRE ENTRY ONLY DAY INSURANCE AVAILABLE

4 Pre-entry only at $12 per class No entries on the day Horse and rider combinations can only enter one ring. CLASSES WILL BE CAPPED AT 20 RIDERS, so get your entries in early!! PLEASE NOTE RIDERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO ENTER 4 ROUNDS OVER 3 CONSECUTIVE HEIGHTS Riders are permitted to wear hacking jacket or official pony club uniform Classes will be broken into 3 groups: Rider 13 yrs and under, Rider 14 yrs up to and including 25 yrs and rider over 25 yrs. Ribbons awarded up to 6 th place. HEIGHTS 105CM AND 115CM WILL NOT BE BROKEN INTO AGE GROUPS Rosettes and rugs can be collected from the club room after results are announced PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 30CM CLASS IS CLASSED AS AN ENCOURAGEMENT ROUND AND IS DESIGNED FOR YOUNG/GREEN HORSES AND RIDERS. LEAD LINE RIDERS ALSO WELCOME IN THE 30CM CLASS GENERAL INFORMATION Rings will be opened for walking before start time Courses will be open for walking after each height change EA rules apply for this event Horse and rider combinations can enter maximum 4 rounds over 3 consecutive heights in one ring only Ground fee is per horse Horse and rider combinations can enter a class twice, but the second round and all rounds after that will be training rounds Pinjarra Horse and Pony Club retains the right to change the program at any time or reschedule the event Every rider must first register before mounting PAYMENT Please enter by completing the entry form and sending a cheque/postal order made out to Pinjarra Horse and Pony Club to the event organiser: Event Secretary, 11 Dixon Avenue, Pinjarra, 6208 If you wish to electronic fund transfer (EFT) your entry fee details: Bank: Bendigo BSB: Account: Please use the following reference in your payment: SJSEP and then your surname and first initial, eg. Draw and helper list will be available on cavalletti on 12 th September Refunds minus $10 admin fee will be available upon presentation of doctors or vet certificate once draw is posted

5 **COMPULSORY HELPERS** Each rider must nominate a helper over the age of 17yrs. One horse One helper if the same helper is nominated for more than 1 rider they will get more than one job. Very limited self-help is available and only in consultation with the event organiser by or phone call and will be either set up or marshal/gear checker. No self-help is available for riders with 2 horses competing. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN NOT NOMINATE ANOTHER COMPETITOR AS YOUR HELPER PARKING Plenty of parking is available on the grounds as well as yards. There are manure pits available on the grounds that must be used when cleaning out the yards before leaving Please leave the grounds as found, and take all horse poo, hay and rubbish home with you No riders under the age of 18 to be left on grounds without a parent/guardian Canteen will be available on the day Gates open at 6:00am **HOW DO I ENTER?** Entry form and helper form can be posted to: Shenae Tilbee 11 Dixon Avenue Pinjarra, WA entries will also be accepted, please to: entriesphpc@gmail.com

6 BEST PRESENTED HORSE AND RIDER COMBINATION GUIDELINES IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ELEGIBLE FOR THIS PRIZE, YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE BELOW GUIDELINES AND IT WILL BE THE JUDGES CHOICE ON THE DAY. WE HAVE 2 X SENIOR (OVER 25YRS) AWARDS SPONSORED BY: SWEET IRON EQUESTRIAN THREADS and 2 X JUNIOR AWARDS (25YRS AND UNDER) SPONSORED BY: PENROSE PARK GARLANDS Even in classes/disciplines (like showjumping) where presentation is not officially judged it s nice to take pride in your horse and your appearance at competitions. Polished presentation is a sign of respect to the judge & organisers and let s be honest, it means you ll get some nice photos on the day to! Horse Presentation: Clean & tidy appearance, well-groomed with no visible mud. Oiled, neat hooves with well-fitting boots. Neatly trimmed mane & tail. Plaiting is not required. Gear & Tack: New equipment or expensive gear is not expected; however, your tack should be neat & well fitting. In fact, well used (and cared for) tack can be beautiful! Remember to pay attention to details like: having buckles in keepers having clean, polished tack correct fit & placement of all gear (i.e. nosebands, martingales and boots) Rider Presentation Clean clothing and tidy presentation. Tucked in shirt Neat hair < this can make a huge difference to your overall appearance! Clean boots Clean helmet. Pale breeches or jodhpurs. Plain chaps can be worn with short boots. If there are no specific club rules about rider presentation you can read the current EA Showjumping Dress Code here. Jackets are optional. lf no jacket is worn, shirts must not be sleeveless. If the shirt is long sleeved, the sleeves must be rolled down and buttoned. Riders must wear a dress shirt and business tie or a dress shirt with rat catcher collar done up (capped sleeves or variants will not be accepted). Collars (and cuffs of long sleeved shirts) must be white.

Please do your duty as required. All Pinjarra members are also asked to assist with arena set up the day before but please also nominate one of the above.
