Watch for Lakedell Ag. Society sign on South side of Hwy. Turn south at sign [ RR 12] and you will see the facility on the east side of the road. See attached map. JULY 10 12, INTRODUCTORY CLINIC - Three full days. This clinic will be geared for those that have never attended a Jerry Tindell clinic. Emphasis will be on safety, lots of groundwork and some riding. Limited to 12 participants. JULY COLT STARTING OR RE-STARTING for PROBLEM ANIMALS - Three full days. This clinic will be lots of groundwork and round pen work. It will focus on the 6 steps for control, which is the foundation for a safe ride. Limited to 6 participants. JULY RIDING CLINIC - Three full days. This is a progressive riding clinic especially designed for those that participated in last year s clinic. Limited to 12 participants.

2 On behalf of the Alberta Donkey and Mule Club, we are very pleased and honored to welcome Jerry and Toni Tindell back to Alberta from Oak Hills. California. Jerry comes from a very diverse background and is able to deal with any problem that you may be having with your horse, mule or donkey. He grew up in Missouri in a logging family that used horses and mules for power. Getting the job done was the first objective. Experiencing the behavior of horses and mules throughout his growing years has given Jerry a unique insight into the equine psyche. Jerry s ability to transform these early lessons in life with equines has been a major part of this development today. Through a lifetime of handling horses and mules, Jerry has developed a comprehensive knowledge of equine behavior and the human skills necessary for top performance. Jerry s emphasis targets effective communication and safety. His experience instructing mounted units has established a successful curriculum for mounted law enforcement. His many years training, riding and driving mules enhances his understanding of the mule and enables him to offer top notch guidance to all mule owners and handlers. Hundreds of people throughout the West have improved their horsemanship and mulemanship skills by attending Jerry Tindell Clinics. Working with Jerry encourages the equine handler to look for the try while developing a feel. Developing a safe, responsive equine and handler relationship is the Tindell goal. Jerry is dedicated to enhancing the horse, mule and handler experience through knowledge and practice, combined with compassion. Check out his website at CLINIC COSTS: These Clinics are Open to ALL EQUINES. EACH CLINIC IS THREE FULL DAYS!! COST: Participants - $550 per clinic (maximum is 12 participants per riding clinic, 6 for Colt Starting)

3 A deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot in the clinic. Deposits will be refunded only if the event is changed or cancelled. A Registration Form is attached at the end. The balance of the clinic fee is due at the time of the clinic. Please make checks payable to ADMC [Alberta Donkey and Mule Club] If both riding clinics do not fill, the clinic with the fewest participants MAY be combined with the other. In that case, Jerry may be available for private or semi-private sessions on the free days. Auditors are welcome; $30 per day (pre-registration is not required) The Alberta Donkey & Mule Club will provide coffee and a morning snack. You must provide your own lunch and any other drinks! The Village of Pigeon Lake is only a couple of minutes away with several eating establishments, plus unique gift shops. However if participants like, arrangements can be made with a local caterer to provide meals on site. This facility has a 80 by 200 indoor arena, plus a very large outdoor arena. There are several pens available for animals plus we are allowed the free use of up to 20 panels. Therefore there should be ample room for boarding at no additional cost to the participant. Water is available day and night. There will be a designated area to dump manure and YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST CLEAN UP ALL MANURE!! There is a wheelbarrow and a shovel there, but I would suggest that you at least bring your own shovel. Bring your own feed and water buckets. There is ample room for tents, campers and trailers, but no hook ups. There are indoor bathroom facilities open 24 hrs. a day but no showers.
