13 CALF REPORT TUESDAY 21 ST AUGUST Calves (173) 10.15am An influx of weaned calves saw one of the busiest calf sales in Whitland for some time. Having the entries in before the sale allowed us to market and ensure a ringside full with the right buyers. At the peak of the trade were January born British Blue bull calves from Thomas, Gelligatrog at 580 and top price heifers 8 month old Lims from Howells, Lodge. Black and white calves topped at 285 and sold an average of 103/head. Get your entries for the next Whitland calf sale in now.
