We provide professional training in selfdefense and fire arms to law enforcements. The Defensive Tactic Groups in Sweden, United Kingdom and Belgium are under the umbrella of the Professional Commission and our goal is to establish defensive tactic groups in every IPA section. The Defensive Tactics Groups have hosted annual events so-called COPS in Poland 2016 and Sweden COPS 2018 will be arranged by IPA Belgium DTG. The participants need to be aware that this event will be recorded under the supervision of Lars Keuleers, a movie director. Every workshop will be recorded and put in a dropbox. Participants will get access to these files and can review them at later time for further training COPS 2018 is supported by ASP, Smith & Wesson and FN Herstal. How to nominate Each nominee is to write an introduction letter including personal data and contact information, a Bio, their experience in law enforcement and why they would want to participate in COPS We welcome participants of all genders. The nominees letters are to forwarded to address: IPA.DTG.Belgium@icloud.com at latest 28 th of February 2018 The final selection will be complete by IPA Belgium DTG and each nominee will be informed at latest 30 th of March 2018 regarding participation or not. Every partner will be present in the briefing room of the firing range at 14:00 hrs for a briefing, afterwards the main lobby will be prepared for the welcoming reception. 12 Workshop 1 Workshop : TECC Theme : control massive bleeding. Objective: By the end of the workshop every participant can control a massive bleeding by using the MAR protocol. Instructors : 2 instructors by Life Safe. Representative workshop : COOLS Tim is an instructor of Campus Vesta Contest : Radek of Life Safe will provide a contest.

13 Workshop 2 Workshop : Fire arms training Theme : police weapons short range tactics Objective : By the end of the workshop every participant can use different types of fire arms in tactical short range circomstances. Instructors : instructors from Smith & Wesson FN Herstal and two Navy Seals representative workshop : DECOENSEL Kristof is an instructor from Campus Vesta Contest : DECOENSEL Kristof will submit every participant to: 1 : a contest of precision fire at 10 meters with 10 bullets on the left & right cirkel of a FBI target within a timeframe of 1 minute. Every hit will give you 5 points. 2 : the official police evaluation course. Using a Smith & Wesson MP9 30 bullets with a maximum of 150 points. Everyone can earn up a maximum of 200 points.

14 Workshop 3 Workshop : vehicle assault course and demo peperspray less lethal weapons Theme : escape car Objective: At the end of the workshop every participant can recognise the strong and weak points of a vehicle. Everyone should be able to leave their patrol car in a tactical way (when taking fire) with the support of their colleagues. Everyone should be able to use a pepperspray in a tactical manner. Instructors : 2 master instructors of Campus Vesta: GOOSSENS Pieter en JANSSENS Steffen, supported by 2 instructors of Simunition. representative workshop : GOOSSENS Pieter & JANSSENS Steffen are two instructors of Campus Vesta.

15 Workshop 4 Workshop : ASP Theme : A certified programm by ASP Objective: At the end of the workshop every participant can use a baton and handcuffs under tactical circomstances. Instructors : 2 instructors of Campus Vesta will provide the workshop, 1 instructor is recognised and certified by ASP. representative workshop : NOBELS Jonas is an instructor of Campus Vesta. Contest : Will be provided by ASP.

16 Workshop 5 Workshop : Defence lab Theme : knife awareness Objective : At the end of the workshop every participant can deflect a knife attack and use a knife for their defense. Instructors : two instructors of Defence lab will provide this workshop.
