The shuttle connects Olympiaworld, the Train Sation, Marktplatz and, on five days, Kletterzentrum Innsbruck. The full trip takes 36 minutes (resp. 22 minutes without KI). In addition, IVB public transport in Innsbruck, from September 6 to September 16, is free for all athletes who carry their accreditation with them. 11 Frequently Asked Questions Opening Ceremony The attendance of the opening ceremony is mandatory for all team members and officials registered for the Lead and Combined Competition. Official team clothing is mandatory too. Meeting Point: riverside of Markthalle Innsbruck, Address: Herzog-Siegmund-Ufer 1-3, 6020 Innsbruck Meeting Time: Thursday, 06th of September pm local time Where is the athletes lounge (ISO)? At the Kletterzentrum Innsbruck, the athletes lounge is on the back side of the gym. It has separate access (see venue map). You need your accreditation, and you need to be qualified for the respective round. For team officials, only those officials have access to the athletes lounge, who are registered for the respective discipline as per IFSC Rules and whose athletes are qualified for the respective round. At the Olympiaworld, the athletes lounge is located at the west side of the Stadium on Ebene B (first floor). The entrance is marked Entrance athletes lounge and is on Ebene A (ground floor). For paraclimbers with wheelchairs, there is a lift. Will food & drinks be provided in the athletes lounge? Yes. Drinks: sparkling water, water, tea, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, Red Bull etc. Food: cereals, fruits, sandwiches, soups, varieties of bread, yoghurt etc.. Can I park at the venues? There are no parking spots at the venue Kletterzentrum Innsbruck, neither for teams, nor for spectators, nor for officials! There is a parking lot at Olympiaworld ( 10 per day). One spot per team is free at the Parkplatz West at the Olympiaworld for the period of 05th to 16th of September. The Head of Delegation can pick up the ticket for this spot at the registration center (Entrance Eingang West - Ebene A) at the Olympiaworld. The organizer recommends to use the parking lot at Olympiaworld (Underground Car Park Tivoli Stadium ). From the Olympiaworld you can use the free IFSC WCH bus shuttle that connects the Venues. This shuttle service connects the venue Olympiaworld, the main train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), the Marktplatz Innsbruck (medal plaza and framework program) and the Kletterzentrum Innsbruck (where lead, boulder and paraclimbing qualifiers take place). Find the IFSC WCH bus shuttle timetable in this folder. How can I get around in Innsbruck? With your IFSC WCH accreditation you can use the public transport in Innsbruck (IVB - Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe) in the Kernzone Innsbruck for free from 05th until 16th of September. On top of this, the event organizer offers the free IFSC WCH bus shuttle. It connects the Olympiaworld Innsbruck, Kletterzentrum Innsbruck, Marktplatz Innsbruck (medal plaza and framework program) and the main train station from to every 15 minutes from 05th to 16th of September. Do athletes need a ticket? Qualifications and semifinals Qualifications and semi-finals are free for everyone. For these rounds you don t need a ticket to enter the venues. Please note that there are reserved areas also for these rounds at the Venue Olympiaworld for spectators who have bought a WCH- Pass -Ticket that are valid also for Semifinals. Furthermore there are reserved VIP-Seats which can t be used. Finals In the Olympiaworld, there is a dedicated grandstand for athletes and team officials on Ebene C (Level C). This grandstand is accessible with your accreditation and does not require a ticket.

12 The entrance to this grandstand is Eingang Ost (Entrance Ost) on Ebene B - first floor on the east side of the stadium. For paraclimbers in a wheelchair there is a reserved area on the ground floor of the stadium which can be accessed with your accreditation via Main Entrance. Note: This area is reserved for paraclimbers in wheelchairs and cannot be accessed by team officials, because there are no seats in this area. Is Kletterzentrum Innsbruck open for training? Outdoor competition walls for Lead and Bouldering are closed at all times as these areas are IFSC WCH competition areas. The training areas indoors (the steep Lead wall, the Bouldering upstairs and the competition area downstairs and Speed) are closed from 9 AM until 3 PM on all days from August 20 until September 20. On Tuesday, September 11, the entire gym is closed. The entire indoor bouldering area is closed on September 6, 7, 11, and 12 as these areas will be used as warm-up areas for the IFSC WCH. Please note that you need to pay the regular entry fee for the Kletterzentrum Innsbruck if you want to train there during the IFSC WCH. Where can I train during the WCH? Are there lockers at the venues to deposit my backpacks? No. Is there WIFI? Yes, there is public WIFI available at all venues. Furthermore there will be a private WIFI for coaches. The Wifi Code you ll get at the Technical Meeting. Coaches should be aware that, if they share the code for the private WIFI for coaches with others, the WIFI will slow down dramatically.
