1 Media Representatives Information 1. Getting there PRESS CENTER: The press center will be located in the venue. Please find further information regarding the press center in subitem 5. 2 From Innsbruck Airport the bus line F takes you to town. Alternatively, you can get a taxi / cab by calling NOTE: As a special offer for all media representatives the organizer provides a free pick-up-service from/to the airport Innsbruck to/from your hotel, if it is within the close surrounding of Innsbruck (Hall Zirl). You have to request this pickup-service when applying for your accreditation via the event organizer s Accreditation System. Airport Munich Distance to competition venue: ~ 200 km From the airport take the "S-Bahn" (S1 or S8) to train station "Munich East" / "München Ostbahnhof"), then go by train to Innsbruck (station "Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof"). ARRIVAL BY TRAIN: Innsbruck central railway station offers direct connection to almost all major European cities. All trains make a stop in Innsbruck ("Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof"). At the western side of Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof there is a large bus stop. Getting around FREE public transport (Kernzone Innsbruck): From 5th 16th Sep 2018 your press accreditation is a valid ticket for all IVB busses and trams within Innsbruck Kernzone (core zone). Please show your accreditation to the driver at any time you want to use public transport! In order to plan your trips, please use the IVB planner on the event-website or find the schedules on the IVB-website. In addition to the free public transport (core zone Innsbruck) there will also be a special WCH shuttle bus which runs every 15 minutes. This shuttle connects the venue, the main train station, the Marktplatz and the venue Kletterzentrum Innsbruck for free. Please find the IFSC WCH shuttle bus timetable on the event website. FREE Media-shuttle-service: During the event the media-shuttle (pick-up-service) can be used as a hotelpick-up and also to go from venue to venue (on request only). Detailed information (e.g. running hours, contact, ) will be announced in the press center. By foot: From the main train station, it takes about 25 minutes by foot to the Kletterzentrum Innsbruck, 10 minutes to the Marktplatz and 15 minutes to the. 4. Parking : Every company / publisher gets one free parking lot at the venue - Parkplatz West. Note: This offer is valid as long as parking lots are available and only after inquiry via the event organizer s Accreditation System. Kletterzentrum Innsbruck / Marktplatz: At these venues, there are no parking lots for media representatives. Please use the free public transport or the free shuttle service offered by the IFSC Climbing World Championships (Please show your accreditation to the driver!).
