6 GAME DAY PROCEDURES Parking: Visiting Teams will park in the back of LJVM in the Coliseum service area. Visiting Team Locker Rooms: A Wake Forest Operations representative will meet your team as you enter the LJVM Coliseum and escort you to Team Room A. Team Benches: Sitting at the scorer s table and facing the court, the visiting team bench is to the right. Visiting Team Player/Pass Gate: Located on the East side of the Main Lobby of LJVM Coliseum. Please provide your Team Will Call list to a Wake Forest Operations representative. General Public Will Call: Located at the outside of the Main Lobby on the South End of the Coliseum. Filming Location: Visiting teams will be allowed one person and one camera to film from a high location. All video equipment will be plugged into a feed in the back hallway. You will have the option of getting a copy of our in house video board production tape (wide angle all game) this company films for the Charlotte Bobcats. Practice Times: Any visiting team should request practice times at the LJVM Coliseum through Brett Hickman, Director of Operations, at The operations staff will do its best to secure your desired practice time or provide an alternate time. In addition, every effort will be made to secure a practice time at our on-campus facility should the LJVM Coliseum not be available. Post Game Meals: Per LJVM Coliseum policy, any food permitted inside the Coliseum must be purchased in house. To arrange post game meals, please contact Chuck Vestal, Director of Event Services, at , ext If you choose to obtain food elsewhere, please have it delivered to the team bus, as outside food may not be brought into the LJVM Coliseum. 4

7 GAME DAY PROCEDURES Supplies: The following supplies will be provided by Wake Forest University: 25 towels for game day 1 ½ cases of soft drinks/juice, iced down 10 towels on the bench Treatment-taping table 1 dozen oranges, quartered If any other supplies are needed, please contact Greg Collins, Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine, at Medical Information: On game day, a team doctor and EMT will be on site. In case of an accident or injury, players will be taken to the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, , Medical Center Boulevard. Mascots/Cheerleaders: Due to a lack of floor space visiting cheerleaders and mascots are not allowed in the coliseum. Post Game Interviews: Visiting team coaches will be asked to interview first after their respective radio commitments. Please escort your coach to the media interview room. 5

10 TIME-OUT FORMATS: MEDIA INFORMATION TELEVISED GAMES Media Time-outs: Time-outs of 2:15 will be taken after the 16:00; 12:00; 8:00; 4:00 marks in each half (first horn at 2 minutes, second horn 15 seconds later). Called Time-outs: Each team shall have five (5) time-outs: One (1) 60-second time-out and four (4) 30-second time-outs. Only three (3) of the 30 s may be carried over to the second half. NOTE: The first 30-second time-out of the second half will become a full media timeout. Overtime: There is a 2-minute intermission. Each coach receives one (1) additional 30- second time-out as well as any unused time-outs from the previous period. The first 30- second time-out called by a coach in each overtime period will become an electronic media time-out. NON-TELEVISED GAMES (RADIO) Media Time-outs: Time-outs of 1:45 will be taken after the 16:00; 12:00; 8:00; 4:00 marks in each half (first horn at 90 seconds, second horn 15 seconds later). 11 TICKET INFORMATION Wake Forest Ticket Office: 499 Deacon Boulevard Winston Salem, NC Phone: DEAC or DEAC The Wake Forest Ticket Office is located at the Bridger Field House at Groves Stadium. The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. To contact the ticket office, call DEAC or DEAC. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Individual Game Tickets: There will be limited individual tickets for some of the non-conference basketball games. Ticket price and availability vary. Due to the sale of Black and Gold Packages, Wake Forest anticipates not having any individual game tickets available for conference games. Player/Team Will Call: Located on the East side of the Main Lobby of the LJVM Coliseum. Teams should hand over their Team Will Call list to a Wake Forest Operations representative. 12 LJVM COLISEUM INFORMATION Animals Animals are not permitted in LJVM Coliseum, with the exception of trained service animals for spectators with disabilities. ATM An ATM is located at section 120 of the concourse. Cameras No long-lensed cameras or video cameras are permitted into the Coliseum. Concessions Located at sections , the food court offers Domino s Pizza, Bojangles, Lil Richard s BBQ, and Hero House Subs. First Aid The first aid room is located at floor level in the visitor s tunnel. Those seeking medical attention should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. Gate Openings Coliseum gates will open ninety (90) minutes prior to the scheduled tip-off time. Guest Relations Guest Relations booths are located at section 120 of the upper concourse and in the Main Lobby. Handicap Seating Handicap seating is located throughout the Coliseum along the top of each seating section. Hospitality Rooms The Hoops Room, located in the Windsor Club, is open to all Deacon Club members. The Moricle Room in the lower concourse is open to Moricle Society members. Lost and Found Lost and Found is located in the Administrative Office of the Coliseum at section 105. Novelty Stores A merchandise and novelty stand can be found at section 101 of the concourse. 10

13 Re-entry policy There is NO re-entry into the Coliseum. LJVM COLISEUM INFORMATION Restrooms Men s and women s restrooms are located throughout the concourse area of the Coliseum. Signs and Banners Banners are not permitted in the LJVM Coliseum. Signs no larger than 3x3 are allowed into the Coliseum. Signs cannot obstruct the view of any spectator and cannot contain any vulgar language. WFU Event Staff reserves the right to confiscate any sign that is inappropriate or causes a disturbance. Smoking Smoking is not permitted in the Coliseum Complex. A designated smoking area is available outside the arena. Telephones A complimentary phone is available in the Cingular phone booth at section 105 on the upper concourse. There are no pay phones in the Coliseum. The following is a list of items that are NOT permitted into LJVM Coliseum: Food Drink Drink containers Banners Artificial noise makers Balls Clothing or signs containing vulgar language Umbrellas (permitted during bad weather) Carribeaner clips Chains Knives Guns Anything else deemed hazardous or unsafe by WSPD, WFUPD, or Event Staff 11

14 PARKING INFORMATION General Public Parking: Parking lots will open 2 or 3 hours prior to announced game time depending on the opponent. General public should enter via University Parkway or Deacon Boulevard and park in either the East or West lot. General public parking fees are $7 per game for the season. Reserved Parking: VIP South/East lot: Please enter lot via 27 th Street. VIP West lot: Please enter lot via Deacon Boulevard. Media Parking: Media parking is located in the LJVM Service Lot behind the Coliseum. Media wishing to park in this lot can enter off Deacon Boulevard. Please park on the left side of the lot.
