To qualify for entry, each exhibitor must be a member of the Cornwall Holstein Club and their herd is resident within the county of Cornwall. Points awarded:- 1st = 5pts, 2nd = 4pts, 3rd = 3pts, 4th = 2pts, 5th = 1pt. C37 The BOCM/SILCOCK Challenge Cup presented by Messrs BOCM/Silcock, for a Holstein Cow or Heifer scoring most points for conformation, milk yield and butterfat, for the officially recorded lactation completed after 30th May 2015 and or not more than 305 days. A National Milk Records certificate MUST BE ENCLOSED WITH ENTRY FORM. 80 points to be awarded to the Best Animal for conformation with the remaining animals on a descending scale; 5 points for each 453.5kgs (1,000 lbs) milk yield 3 points for each 0.1% over 3.5% butterfat. Animals with an average butterfat of less than 3.3% will not be eligible to compete.
