Auctioneers cannot accept any responsibility for e accuracy or reliability of any Vendor declarations and no warranties or guarantees whatsoever are given by e Auctioneers. COMPUTER SYSTEM AND SALE RING INFORMATION DISPLAYS The computer system allows us to display individual cattle details including, breed, sex, age, country of bir and Farm Assurance on e ring displays at e time of sale. This information will also be printed on all invoices and sale notes. Notice to Consignors Please ensure at completed, signed and dated Passports and Movement Documents travel wi e animals to market and where appropriate Farm Assurance stickers applied. Documents must not be handed to e auctioneer at e time of sale. Consignments will not be sold until is information is entered into e computer system. Consignors are reminded of e double tagging regulations and are requested at distance readable tags are correctly applied and easily readable for identification of e individual animals at e time of sale. All cattle not in eier of e categories above (including from not-negative herds) Risk Level Very low risk Low risk Risk unknown FOOD CHAIN INFORMATION VETERINARY MEDICAL WITHDRAWALS st From 1 January 2010 new legislation comes into force requiring slaughterhouse operators to receive, check and act upon food chain information. To comply wi ese new requirements we have modified our movement documents for all classes of stock coming to market to include e necessary declarations on food chain information. This will allow us to pass on is information which must accompany all animals to slaughter and for Store Stock to pass on Medical widrawal information. Unless oerwise stated at e time of sale (eier by e auctioneer, on e catalogue or e display screens) all livestock are sold as having completed all widrawal periods for any veterinary medicines ey have received. For any animals under treatment e details must be completed in e movement declaration form. It is e responsibility of e buyer to ensure at any animal destined for e food chain are outwi any widrawal periods. Please note all sheep will require two documents, e Scottish Government SAMU Movement Document and our Movement Document incorporating e Food Chain Information Declaration. New Livestock keepers: Requirement to register wi your Animal Heal Office. New keepers of e main livestock species (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs) are required to register eir herds and flocks, and e holdings ey are kept on, under EU Directives. This applies to any number of animals, including individual pets. Please note, pregnant animals are always a greater risk and erefore cannot be assigned as category one, very low risk. Pregnant animals, which would oerwise be category one must be assigned as category two (low risk) WELFARE OF ANIMALS DURING TRANSPORT It is an offence to transport pregnant female animals to market for sale if ey have reached e latest stage of gestation (wiin 10% of e estimated time of e gestation before bir) and for a period of one week after giving bir. -B7-
