2 The reluctant sale of the Welshgold Herd has been brought about by the loss of a significant block of rented land and Winter housing leading to a complete reorganisation of the farming enterprise. The Welshgold Herd was established in 1994 with the purchase of choice cows from the dispersal of the W.G. Lewis & Son herd. The Pedigree Welshgold Herd has been run on a commercial basis, regularly topping store cattle sales and becoming one of the largest herds of Gelbvieh cattle in the UK. The sale offers purchasers an exceptional opportunity to purchase genuine and proven stock. CONDITIONS OF SALE All Cattle are sold under the National Conditions of Sale, exhibited in the Sale Office. It will be the Vendor s responsibility to provide the correct documentation, i.e. Passports, TB Test Chart, Cattle Entry Form etc for each animal. The purchaser will have 72 hours to check such documentation. The Vendor may be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Auctioneers in satisfying the purchaser s requirements. Trading Standards Officers will refuse to allow cattle without double ear tags to enter the market. It will not be acceptable to give purchasers money in lieu of tags. Please attach Farm Assured Stickers to Cattle Entry Form. IMPORTANT This Brochure is for information purposes only correct number, sex & age will be announced at time of sale.
