3 INFORMATION SPORTS CENTRE RECEPTION DESK # 2669 recreation@ubishops.ca REFUNDS Registration fees will be fully refunded for any cancelled program. Withdrawals before the first class are subject to a $5.00 fee. Withdrawals after the first class but before the second class are subject to a $10.00 fee. Withdrawals after the second class but before the third class are subject to a $20.00 fee Withdrawals made after the third class will NOT be refunded. Refund request forms are available at the reception desk and must be completed in order to process a refund. Bishop s University recreation centre reserves the right to limit enrollment or cancel programs. Inappropriate behavior during recreation and/or aquatic courses will not be tolerated. PARKING S Parking permits allow members to park in the reserved S parking spots in front of the new entrance as well as in the P1 and P2 parking lots. Permits are available at the Sports Centre Reception desk during opening hours. 4 months $ months $ year $85.00 (Seniors $60.00) A Recreation Parking permit allows you to park in the P1 and P2 parking lots during your registered course time frame. The parking permits cost $10/session. Permits are required and are monitored daily. Parking is free weekdays after 17:00 and on weekends. For more information: #2669

5 CHILDREN THE DANCE CLUB (12 weeks) 3-5 Y/O: Kids will spend 50 minutes moving, expressing themselves and playing all while learning the basics of dance. Body expression, games and lots of fun await them. Expect them to spend a ton of energy and have fun like crazy! 6-9 Y/O: Children will express themselves and learn the basic vocabulary of dance. A dynamic class where kids will move and create choreographic phrases in a stimulating and fun environment. Red Cross Swim Preschool is an eight-level stand-alone program for four-month to six-year-old children that allows swimmers to enter various levels based on age and ability. Each level is represented by an animal mascot that is incorporated into the content and makes the lesson engaging and fun, through songs and activities. 8 ADULT YOGA (12 weeks) Yoga is a great way to improve fitness, strength, flexibility and balance. This dynamic class will give you a workout and also leave you feeling rejuvenated in body and mind. Yoga is non-competitive and emphasis is placed on mindfulness and body awareness. This is a a two part course. The first six weeks will focus on traditional Yoga, where as the final six weeks focus on Vinyasa Yoga. Please note, some courses will take place outdoors on the new Terrace (weather permitting).please bring your own Yoga mat. 11 FACILITIES - INSTALLATIONS The Bishop s Day Camp and Gaiters Sports Camps take place at the John H. Price Sports Centre. The newly renovated Sports Centre features two double gyms, NHL sized arena, multi-purpose rooms, state-of-the-art classrooms, lounge and terrace areas, indoor and outdoor pools, squash courts, multiple playing fields (turf and grass) and much more! In addition, residential campers have access to Dewhurst Dining Hall and campus residences.
